Hi, I have a Kuppersbusch side by side fridge freezer. The section where the doors meet in the middle is getting hot. Between the fridge and freezer. Is that normal or do i have a problem? Thanks, Stuart

Hi Stuart, this is quite normal. It is an anti sweat heater that stops condensation accumulating and allowing mould to grow

The beam in middle of refridgerator where both doors rest against while closed is too hot to touch

Is the cooling fan for the compressor working? There is a coil of the condenser line that runs around the freezer side. This will get hot but the cold freezer side keeps it form not getting too hot. It could get very warm if the freezer is not cold yet.

Overheating, seals on Roper side by side are hot to the touch

Hi, When that strip gets hot, it is a sign the temperatures are not cold enough. Put a thermomitor in the freezer. You should get a reading of 0 to 5 above. If not, let me know and we can try and get you through this.

Thanks

Freezer running, ice maker not producing, hot in middle divder.

The dividing section should be warm, to keep unit from sweating. (by design). Cleaning under the refrigerator was what cooled it down. You cleaned the condenser. The condenser allows the refrigerent to cool down. When it was dirty, the condenser could not get enough air to cool down.

Fridge freezer over heating and is not cooling fridge section

It is normal for the middle strip to be hot. Did you check the temp setting in the fridge section?
Also - you might check for blockage in the bottom. Excessive dirt/dog hair can block the air flow.
Good luck
