You might be running into a problem with the new card being a SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card and not just a SD (Secure Digital) card. I have had similar problems with SDHC cards when I put then in older products that have regular SD slots (Photosmart Printer). The cards will still fit into the slots, however the method as to which they are read and written to is different which causes the problem. So, maybe try updating computer hardware drivers or mp3 firmware from the Sansa website. Also, if you can, exchange the 4gb SDHC for a 4gb SD card, this could be a pain in the ****, but this solution should fix your problem definately. Hope some of this helped.

Can I buy additional memory? My SanDisk is full. Also, I have tried to download an album and can't because the device thinks it already has it, but I sure can't find it.

Yes, you can add more memory. The e250 has a slot for a microSD card, and those cards come in various sizes up to 2GB. You might see larger cards, but those are actually microSDHC cards and won't work in the e250.

You can load those cards up with music, as long as you put it into a folder named "MUSIC." Videos and photos must reside in the internal memory.

As to downloading an album, check the file names as well as the album and artist names embedded in the file. Since you didn't specify the computer and operating system, I can't tell you specific ways of doing that. On Windows, Media Player should show you that information, though.

I have a Sansa e250 I have put a new Micro sd card with 8 gb memory into the card slot it has music loaded on to it ( when it is in the computer it comes up and shows what is on it ) the player does not...

The e-series uses microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot it is not electronically compatible and will not work in the e250. You need to stay with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

The newer Fuze series will accept microSDHC cards.

Where do i put it in my lap top

It depends on whether your laptop supports SDHC, microSDHC, or neither.

1. Supports MicroSDHC: check on the manual the position of the MicroSDHC slot.

2. Only supports SDHC: you need to purchase an adapter - essentially a full-size SDHC with a slot where the MicroSDHC goes. Plug the micro card in the adapter, plug the adapter+card into the SDHC slot.

3. Neither: you need to purchase both a micro-to-SDHC adapter and a SDHC-to-USB reader (usually SDHC in supported in most "XYZ-in-1 readers", like Quanta 32-in-1 USB reader - check out "SDHC USB reader" in eBay, for example).

How do you put your sandisk microSDHC card with adapter in your camera

That depends on the camera. If the camera supports Sandisk Micro, then the SD card will fit into a slot. The slot is often located near to the battery.

You will just have to push card in and camera will automatically read card.

If camera does not read the card, ensure that the camera model can support SanDisk Micro, and that it will also support card size. Older cameras do not support big memory card (eg.4Gb)

Add music

You need a microSDHC memory card and memory card reader. The reader [which looks like a flash drive that you insert the mircoSDHC card into] is inserted into the USB port on your computer, and you transfer music from your computer to the microSDHC card via the memory card reader. Stick the mircoSDHC card into the slot on your Xenon, while the phone is off, then turn your phone on and TADA. It's there! =D

I just bought a SanDisk 4GB microSDHC card at walmart and it shows up in my phone, but not my computer. How can I put music on it? Is this the right card I need?

What is your operating system? What is your card file system? If your operating system support FAT file system then check your memory card reader. If all is ok then try it with your data cable of your phone.
