While mowing with a 21 inch selfpropelled mower i hit a large bolder and the sound and power seemed to drop in half, but still runs smooth any thoughts?

Mower blade might be bent, that would cause it to run out of balance and it would slow down the speed of the engine.

Can you help me find what size belt i should buy?

With the model no. on the motor wont get your belt, you have to have the model no. off of the mower itself, and if all else fails you can take a piece of rope and have someone help you and go around all the pullys till it meets up with the beginning and cut it then measure the rope and that ought to get you real close! good luck, but the model no. on mower should get your belt.

What size & length belt do I need for my yard machine? It is 12.5HP, 38" cut. I don't have any other info with me. Tks

The best thing you can do is get the model # (probably under the seat of the machine) and go online to and type in the model # and they'll give you the correct belt for your machine (from there you can probably buy locally).
Good luck!
