Question about Watts Onan Portable Generator - 4000 , Model# 5500
Sounds like the float is out of adjustment, it's not keeping the bowl filled.If the float is not at correct height or the bowl was not placed back in the correct position it could show these symptoms , some bowls have a small indent on them and that recess should clear the float for proper movement of float. Or check to make sure that you have no water in fuel tank. Good Luck...
