Water does not pump through coffee but doespump through hot water dispencer and frother

    The coffee maker ia a Reneka Single, sn DA932828M . tHE PROBLEM IS THAT WATER DOES NOT PUMP THRIUGH THE COFFEE BUT DOES PUMP THROUGH HOT WATER DISPENSER AND FROTHER.I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS A BOILER PROBLEM. I AM GOING TO CHECK THE PUMP TO SEE IF IT IS FAULTY BUT ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. mAX

    The answers I have rceived from the two experts are not satisfactory.Parts for this model are readily available fraom Boyd Coffee Co. in Portland Oregon. I thought I would get some really good advice here but so far did not. It looks like I am going to have to solve this problem myself.

    Other than cleaning of the Reneka Single, I am not getting any ideas on a faulty pump or any other part that may be at fault.It does not pump through the coffee but does pump through hot water dispenser and frother. Do you have any ideas?

You might want to start by posting the problem under coffee machines instead of computer software, its going to the wrong experts.

most likely it is a problem that may occur during the flow of the cleaning is done.

This is a single boiler model, as the name says. If the water gets delivered hot to other outputs it means that the boiler is operational and the problem is with either the water valve corresponding to the coffee brewer or the pipe connecting the valve to the brewer - most likely they are clogged by lime .
You will have to dismantle the unit and locate the clogged part - either try to clean it manually or replace it. The replacement part will be very hard to obtain - to my knowledge the only source for them is the importer, you will have to order it directly to them.

    Since you live in US, all the parts will be available at the official US importer - Boyd Coffee (Reneka is a french company). Take your unit apart and replace the valve and the pipe.

Hi.

According to you I don't get any description or model of your coffee maker. Check if boiler or filter holes are block.

clear it. clear the spout holes. Make sure the platter or brewer moving properly. Check if The tank is incorrectly inserted and the valve on the bottom is not open. Press the tank down lightly to open the valve. And also make sure the coffee container is not empty.

This might not be the problem , but sometimes , not cleaning milk frother tip properly , the tip gets closed with dry milk. use a needle and push it in the frother tip and see if there is a restriction. hope this helps.

Pump may be broke


Remove the frother nozzle: if its the early type with three hooks, slide the frother body down before trying to remove it. Disassemble the frother and clean the three holes in the end. If the holes are blocked, the steam can't escape. If it's not pushing hot water through the coffee holder, pull out the water reservoir, and remove and clean the grid plate assembly where the coffee holder clips in.

My Jura Capresso E 8 is stuck in open tap filling system. I open tap it says filling system, it says close tap, when I close the tap it goes back into open tap. Float valve looks fine, water is moving


Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

Filter change


this was absolutely the problem with my Jura Capressa E-8 machine. I followed instructions after changing the filter. I opened tap-machine stated that it was filling system- I closed tap when instruction. The open tap remained on because no water was filling system. I took the frother tip off and opened tap. Water filled system (container under frother). I closed tap without the frother tip. Machine Ready.... (I heated water in microwave for three minutes) I placed the frother tip in there and used a wooden skewer to ensure frother was clear of debris... Worked like a charm!

Frother not working


Unscrew the plastic frother head and make sure that the plastic and the metal ends aren't blocked. Run a descaling solution through the machine.

You may have a flow meter that is bad. If its white plastic check for corrosion at the wire terminals. If your have corrosion change the meter and you should be good to go.

Water does not come out the frother/hot water spout .


check your solenoid valve and security valve of boiler of the machine. make sure they are clean and work good, than you will have perfect espresso again.
if pump runs without your comand check up the swich of brewing coffee.
