OK, I think you're going to have to use the AUX port. Have you tried that?

See the manual on page 22. Use your remote to turn on the AUX port option. Thanks for using FixYa.

sorry, does this not work? Set source to standby, press menu, press AM until "AUX" is displayed, then press >> until "AUX ON1" is displayed, press MENU again to exit setup. When you press source, AUX should now be an option. If this doesn't work, head unit is faulty.

hey dear, just do this if you wanna set AUX function: turn off your head unit.. when is in standby mode, press the volume knob and hold it pressed until it appears some words... then start moving on to differente options by clicking left-right of the right knob... you will find aux on-off

not sure if standby mode, or completely turned off (to turn it off just click the SRC mode a few seconds)

Mp3 to aux input

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.

How to turn off this blasted DEMO mode on MP235

Once in standby you have to press and hold the button to get into the menu. Once in the menu, you use the joystick control on the right to navigate to "Demo" and toggle it to "off" (can't remember off the top of my head... you either have to press the joystick in and hold it to toggle or just move it up/down...). Once done, just press Source to exit.
