Firstly install the software found on the supplied cd that came with the camera and plug the camera when required by the installation wizard .If you don't have the CD try checking on the manufacturer's web page for a driver. You can also plug the camera in and leave windows to search for the driver.Better is to install via dedicated driver as above

Sir,my webcam is working properly but when i install dell webcam software and run it ,it says ''YOUR WEBCAM DRIVER IS NOT INSTALLED.PLEASE INSTALL THE DRIVER IN ORDER TO LAUNCH DELL WEBCAM '' OR ''THERE IS...

It generally means the webcam or the webcam cable is faulty and needs to be replaced. The only way to tell which is faulty is to try one, and in rare cases both may be faulty.
Before you try replacing the webcam you could try updating the driver, to do this you need to goto the manufacturers website, find their support section and there should be a list of drivers for your specific machine. I have a list of links to most manufacturers drivers on my website.
If the driver update fails then look on ebay for a webcam and cable for your laptop. Installing can be tricky as you need to remove your LCD bezel and laptop top cover as the webcam connects to the system board.
Hope this helps,

try to reinstall your webcam driver and then try to check if the driver you installed is supported with your Operating System and make sure that try to run the webcam after you install the driver to check if you have installed a correct driver.

Thanks

Webcam Can't install to Yahoo Messenger

Try unplugging your webcam. Uninstalling the cam, then re-installing it. Once it says its installed, plug in your cam. Or, try a diffrent usb port, that could be shot.

Web cam not work

you have not written what operating system you are running and which webcam you are trying to install.
The procedure to install the webcam is same for all webcams. I am asuming the you are using winXP and you are trying to install webcam. put the cd which came with webcam in the cd drive and install the driver.Mostly the cd will Autorun. After installing the driver connect the webcam .The operating system will detect new hardware i.e webcam. To see wether your webcam is properly installed on your system right click on mycomputer>manage>click on Device Manager . you will see list of all the hardware on your system. you can expand imaging devices . under imaging devices you can see your webcam installed. If your webcam is not properly installed you will see a red symbol on your webcam listed in there.

I hope this information is useful to you . All the webcams will be installed in the same procedure .Please rate my post if you find it helpful.
Thanks and Regards

Hi,

You can download from Creative.

Pick web cameras, then webcams, then your model, then next, then pick your language and operating system.
