Hi,

If you may pls:

  • post back make and model;
  • detail circumstances prior to the fuse blowing;
  • how many speakers are connected;
  • have you checked the speakers themselves;
  • is it a sub in bridge mode;
  • have you checked the polarity, possible wire short or grounded
  • do you have access to and familiar with a continuity tester (DVM)?
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

  • This shows a faulty head unit sometimes...
  • The fuses for these systems are usually two.
  • One right behind the music system, clock and the head works on it.
  • Then the second on the fuse box of the car.
  • Usually used fuse is the accessory- cigarette lighter kit fuse. Check for any blown fuse in the fuse box.
  • Then check the connection lines of the main supply(red\yellow), ground(black).
  • If this is not a remedy then go to the service center to get an advice. Do not open the head unit yourself !!

Car was working fine then i went out again it started then cut off and now won't start everything's fine only thing went wrong power windows stopped and power windows stopped working also before...

Sounds like possible fusible link is blown or lose?

Fusible links are different then regular fuses found in fuse box and are located under the hood near the battery ..

Did you just install the system ? or has system already been installed for a while and this problem just occurred ?

You may have blown a fuse, check those to make sure they aren't blown. Verify that the connections are in place again and make sure the settings on the amp are correct as well.
If the fuse isn't blown and the connections are secure, I would make sure that the wire that you have ran from your battery is within the specifications for use with your amplifier.

My sound system in my nisan murano 2006 isnt working

well when you say your system isnt working there could be alot of symptoms but im going to ASSUME YOU HAVE AN OEM system and you have a no sound or non op issue. If the system is a bose system chances are your amps lost power.This can be caused from a blown fuse a bad turnon relay, or no amp turnon from your unit.If you can give me some more details I will try to help you if the above info dosen't help.

No power geting to my subwoofer from my head unit,also no bass gain on my amplifier !!

There are a few things going wrong here possibly. Its hard to tell without being able to physically troubleshoot, but here's my guess: blown/no fuse. If your amp's power wire is of top quality, you should have a fuse about 4 or 5 inches up from the battery terminal. If this fuse is blown, no juice will flow through to the amp. If this fuse keeps blowing you have a problem and need to get it fixed professionally or you could risk setting something on fire.

Otherwise, check the amp itself for blown fuses, loose power, ground, or remote wires. Last but not least, be sure that you have set your subwoofer output in your headunit setting menu to ON! =]

If the speaker has been overdriven, it may have damaged the cone surround or damaged the speaker coil, causing it to 'rub' inside the magnet. To check for rubbing, you need to move the speaker cone backwards and forwards by hand and listen where the speaker coil/cone goes into the magnet. It should be silent if ok. If you can heara rubbing or grating noise, then the speaker is damaged. If the output driver on the amp is damaged it can give a distorted sound, which could easily happen if it tries to provide too much current.
