This is common for unlocked phones still semi branded to carriers. you must call the tech department of your carrier and have them walk you through step by step on how to add the correct internet proxies that will allow you to access the internet with that device. because while its unlocked to USE on other carriers the pix mssging and internet are not programed to yet and still stuck on at&t network settings.

Unlock code for motorola motoluxe

You don't need to contact the Bell service provider to get the Unlock code for Motorola Motoluxe mobile. There are many online service providers that provides you the code to unlock your mobile. I would suggest you to visit Mobile-unlocker.com which sends you the code through mail with instructions to unlock your Motorola Motoluxe(XT615) mobile from Bell Network(Canada) and use it happily in Australia.

How to Configure Belkin routers for Centurylink, Embarq, Bell sympatico, Bell...

How to Configure Belkin routers without installation CD for Centurylink, Embarq, Bell sympatico, Bell Canada ISPs ?
Configuring Belkin routers without installation CD for Centurylink, Embarq, Bell sympatico, Bell Canada ISPs :
  • Connect the Computer to the Router in one of the 4 ports named wired (usually grey in color) using an Ethernet cable.
  • Do not connect the modem to the router.
  • Open internet explorer / Firefox / chrome or any of your default web browser.
  • In the address bar type the default gateway address of Belkin router i.e., 192.168.2.1
  • Belkin router setup page (RSP) will be displayed.
f7dd033.jpg
Wired Part Configuration:
We need to configure the wired part by following these steps.
Step 1: You need to LOGIN to the router for making any changes. (No login password, just leave it blank and click SUBMIT)
Step 2: Click on LAN settings (found on left side of RSP), change the IP address from 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.40.1 and save changes.
Step 3: Now Connect the DSL Modem to Router in the port named Modem (usually yellow in color) using another Ethernet cable.
***Once you are done that, you need to re-login to RSP by typing the new IP address 192.168.40.1 in the address bar of web browser.

Step 4: Check for the internet status at the top right hand corner of RSP. If it is connected then the wired part is working perfect with the router (wired computers will go online). Need not follow the steps below, directly jump to wireless part configuration.
Step 5: If the Internet Status is not connected then, click on CONNECTION TYPE (found on left side of RSP), it has to be selected as DYNAMIC and click next. It will ask for HOST NAME, leave it blank or you can type anything there and click on APPLY CHANGES.
Step 6: Now check for the internet status at the top right hand corner of belkin RSP. If it says connected then everything for the wired part is configured perfectly. You can go ahead and configure for the wireless part.
If it is not connected then we need to do a network power cycle.

Steps to be followed for performing Network power cycle:
  • Unplug the power cable of both your modem and router.
  • Wait for 30 seconds.
  • Plug back the power cable of the modem and wait until all the lights are lit up in it.
  • Now plug back the power cable to the router and check for the lights in the router.
Modem & Internet lights will be lit and they will be solid (blue/green) in the router; it says that the Internet status is connected. Now you will be able to go online in the wired computers.

If still Modem & Internet lights are not solid in the router; it may be blinking in red/ amber it says that the Internet status is not connected. You will not be able to go online in the wired computers.

In this case you need to connect your computer directly to the modem and check whether you are able to go online. If you are not able to go online, then you need to contact your ISP and fix your issue with internet.

The above method is applicable only for Embarq, century link, Bell Sympatico, Bell Canada ISPs. Because these ISPs will have the IP address same as Belkin routers....

If nothing works then you need to contact your ISP and ask them to bridge the modem...Bridging the modem disables NAT in the modem and allows you to get a public IP in the modem.

When i try to login in facebook ...it says to me packet data connection not available.......can you help me??

Do have an internet/data plan active on your mobile account? If not, you have to contact your service provider first and the provider will then send you a text message with the appropriate settings and configuration info for your phone - all you have to do is to save/install the message on your phone, the phone will do the rest.
If you already have a data plan for your mobile account, and assuming the phone's settings/configuration is correct, you can manually set the phone
menu -> settings -> connectivity-packet data connection -> on

Just bought a blackberry today and it wont let me on the internet, it says something about Wi-Fi connection. What do i do?

BlackBerries have different browsing profiles. Most likely your default is set to WiFi or HotSpot browser. Also, if you don't have a data plan with your carrier that might explain it. Without a data plan these phones can only connect through WiFi. Try going into the browser, selecting options and making sure that the default browser is Internet Browser.

Web not working on sidekick 3 phone.

Sorry to tell you this, but unless you have the t-mobile sidekick data plan the internet, chat and email will not work. It is hard coded to use the Danger Servers for these services.

Wi-fi

You probably called their customer support or billing, which know nothing about technical stuff.

Wi-fi is completely independent from the cellular network, so it will not charge you anything. Wi-fi just connects to a wireless router, like the one in your home, if you have one. In other words it connects to the internet via someones home/office internet connection. I have a touch diamond and dont have a data plan, and only use wifi, works great..BUT:

If you do not have a data plan (pay as you go data) with Bell, IMMEDIATELY get a 'data block' on your phone, at first they might say oh it will not let you use some functions, etc, put insist, persist, and use force if neccesary as they dont like giving you a data block..It costs about $50 per mb if you use the pay per use internet! I think that was the 1X, but im not sure, its ridiculously high!

Wi-fi

No, wifi is completely seperate from the cellular network. It will not cost you anything, but will depend on whether or not there are wireless routers/networks near you and if they are secured (with a password) or not. Wi-Fi is basically a home/office internet connection, just wireless.

For example, all starbucks has 'wi-fi'.

If you don't have a data plan for your phone, get a data block immediately from Bell. They dont like giving data blocks, and they say some functions wont work but they mean stuff that connects to the internet, which will cost you if you wifi isn't connected since it defaults to the cellular providers internet. It cost be about $12 for less than half a MB of usage. Their rate per MB is more than $50, im not kidding.. just checked my bill. If you just got the phone you can get the charges reversed just say you didn't know it would connect to the cellular web and that it cost so much etc etc. They should be lenient if you just got the phone etc...
