Question about Canon PIXMA iP90 Mobile Printer

For at least four years I have successfully linked my Sony Vaio laptop to a Canon Pixma iP90 portable printer. Today, despite all my efforts to correct, all my prints are coming out the same sepia red tone throughout with considerable loss of detail. I have changed both ink cartridges I have deep cleaned both cartridges I have several times disconnected all cabling and then reconnected The printer has not suffered any knocks or excess temperature, and the print previews on my laptop are fine. What can the problem be ?

You mean it prints light color print out? Please try to set up again the printer by add new new printer. Check the test page it prints still the same.

Four flashes indicates 'Ink tanks installed incorrectly' or 'Printer needs repair'.

Click here for reset procedure.

Click here for instruction on contacting Canon Support. They have been very helpful. If it turns out that one of your ink tanks is faulty, they have replaced them at no cost in the past.

Canon IP90 portable . No ink printing.

Have you performed a nozzle test? If one or more of the colors is missing when you do the nozzle test, the printhead itself is likely in need of replacement.

Before considering replacment, perform a clean on the printer. Due to variations between mac and pc, please see your documentation / support files on how to perform the clean on your printer.

After performing the clean, again perform the nozzle check to see if the problem is resolved.

If still not resolved, remove and re-install any cartridges you recently replaced to make certain they are installed correctly.
