Question about Healthometer Health o meter Digital Lithium Hdm753dq 95 (Health O Meter)

I cannot get it to turn on when I step on it or turn on at all, for that matter. I have checked the batteries and they are all reading good. What do I do now. Love my scale!

Suspect you have just put in a new battery but it is in upside-down. Open up the battery compartment and make sure the cell(s) are correctly placed.

Bathrooms have humidity, and humidity causes oxidation, so the chances are that your battery terminals inside the scale, or on the batteries, are corroded slightly and need cleaning. Use a qtip and alcohol, or a pencil eraser to clean them. Check them carefully to make sure they're clean and shiny.
Other than that, the unit will have to be troubleshot, which isn't easy or practical. These type of devices are not usually meant to be serviced, but you can contact Healthometer to see what can be done:

My bike acts like the battttery is dead when i go to strat it.check the battery and it reads 12volts.what can it be if my battery is good. please help


Amperage is what turns your starter, not voltage. U may have 12 volt indication but the battery may not really have a charge sufficient to start bike. Have battery checked at auto zone, etc - they have the gear with which to it and give you proper guidance on matter.

Head lights (no tail lights) come on when ignition is turned on, they go off when engine is started (head light switch is off).


Hi, Nudge in order to check out any main electrical system, you have to start with a fully charged battery 12.5 volts or better, and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
1. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
2. Check the voltage drop at the battery when you hit the starter button, anything below 9 volts you might have a faulty battery.
3. Check voltage at the battery with the bike running at 3,600 RPM should be 14.3 to 14.7 volts. If you are not getting these numbers, you might have a faulty voltage regulator.
4. Make sure voltage regulator is "GROUNDED" and functioning properly, watch the video below on how to test a voltage regulator.
5. Unplug the connector to the alternator and hook your multimeter leads to the alternator (pin/socket selection does not matter) set the multimeter to AC volts, at an idle the multimeter should read 16 to 20 volts AC. at 2,000 RPM 32 to 40 AC volts, 3,000 RPM 48 to 60 AC volts. If you are not getting these numbers, you may have a faulty rotor, follow step 6
6. Set the multimeter to OHM'S, connect one lead to the alternator (any pin/socket) and the other to a ground, the multimeter should read infinity. Connect both leads to the alternator multimeter should read 0.1 to 0.2 OHM'S. If you are not getting these numbers, you have a bad stator.
7. Check all wiring in the charging circuit for worn or chaffed spots and all wiring connectors in the circuit for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets, which is the # 1 offender.

When I turn my lights on it cuts the bike off. No power, nothing. Fuses have been checked, battery is good. Bike worked great until I turn lights on.


the lights are taking all the power from the ignition system
that indicates the charge circuit is faulty

When i turn the key, the voltage meter drops to 0. no lights, no click,nothing.whats next?

My 2003 YZF-600r wont start. i turn the key to on on the lights turn on also then with it in neutral i hit the start button and everything turns off

My bike starts runs great after couple miles just dies and starter just barly turns over like two turns wont even pull start let it sit 30 min it does it again

My front wipers do not work, the washer on the front and the rear wiper works fine, they are all on the same thing


HI. This is a possible motor issue. To confirm, use this procedure. it will help isolate the actual issue at hand.

1.Make sure the battery has a strong charge and is in good condition. Use a voltmeter to get a reading if necessary.

2.Connect a jumper wire between ground and the wiper motor. Turn the key on but don’t start the engine. Turn the wiper switch on. If the motor works, check for a corroded or loose ground connection.

3.Turn on the car key but don’t start the engine. Turn on the wipers. Check for voltage at the wiper motor with your voltmeter. If you get a good voltage reading, turn the key off and disconnect the motor from the wiper linkage.

4.Move the wiper arms by hand. If they are stuck, you have found the problem. If the wiper arms move freely by hand, go to step 5. If voltage is not reaching the motor go to step 6.

5.Remove the wiper motor by disconnecting the plug and removing the bolts using a wrench or ratchet. Use a pair of jumper wires to connect the wiper motor directly to the battery. If the motor does not work, replace it.

6.Turn on the key but don’t start the engine. Get a voltage reading across the wiper switch. If there is voltage, use a jumper wire to bypass the switch, if the motor works now, replace the switch, otherwise go to step 7. If there is no voltage at the switch, go to step 8.

7.Check for continuity at the wire between the switch and the motor. The wire could be loose or disconnected.


8.Check the wire coming from the fuse panel to the wiper switch. It could be disconnected or loose.

Driver windshield wiper does not work

Step 1

Step 2

Wen bike is hot it fails to start


check pulse coil generator system...sometimes hot oil leaks onto the pickups and then the ohm readings aren't right...check ohm readings on these pulse coils only when not working. i had this problem and it would always push start no matter what...have you tried to push start it....try that first...pretty good chance if it does start your pulse coils are getting to hot.

1991 Accord LX is not charging the battery properly


ITS definitely the alternator if the voltage with vehicle running is less than 14Volts+ therefore the alternator is NOT charging enough, that why the battery LIGHT came ON. Replace alternator and that will solve your problem. Sometimes when alternator goes BAd they will actually have a drain on the battery. Good Luck and Thanks for using FIX YA
