When on HD Color stream, the picture never becomes clear. But on antenna/cable, it becomes clear after about 30mins or so.

The first thing to verify would be to see if it happens on all input sources such as DVD, HD tv etc., just to make sure its not the problem with the input source. If the problem persists on all sources then please get me an image so that I can see for myself what it looks like.

Hi, from the problem you pasted, it sounds like your having problem with your cables..First we have to be sure about the problem to avoid further damages..

First check all cable and see if there is any leakage of wire somewhere braking the flow of signal to the TV.
Also check if all cables are properly connected..After doing that if you can get a spare TV to connect the cable to , to also check if the problem is really from theTV or the antenna..

When your through with that, then get back to me let fixed the issue.

Good luck .

I suspect the power supply to be slowly going faulty. Without the proper power going to the other components, EX: backlight inverter, mainboard, etc. The picture can become distorted and lines can appear from both the mainboard and T-Con board. Before you continue to run your tv, you need to get it repaired (powersupply) or risk further damage.

Please rate if this helped :)

Here is an example of a common problem on power supplies, popped capacitors:

Vertical lines on screen kinda pixelated

Just check this link. You can see similar type of fault to LCD TVs. Compare them to that of your TVs and make sure. It sounds that the LVDS cable has loose contact with its connection sockets. Re-seat it once, and check.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.

Sounds like a panel defect. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. I cant get it to work on full screen

I am having this same problem as this one above (62HM95). The issue I'm having is that it will also not work full screen. I selected the 'Split' option on the remote and the picture on the left is fine... absolutely clean and perfect, with audio. The picture on the right is completely distorted in very strange colors (mostly constant variations of purple), with audio as well. You should note, that the same video information was feed into different imputes to select for the split. In other words, I feed the cable stream into the TV using the component video (Y B R) as well as the coaxial cable and selected both options for the purposes of displaying the same information side-by-side. On screen I selected video option four (4 for color stream HD) and option (0 for cable/antenna). If I highlight either side and select one of them (4 or 0) the screen goes full screen and I see nothing but one solid color of purple. I've researched the purple and they call it 'Electric Purple'. That is all I see... just the solid purple, with the audio. What I have also noticed is that, If toggle between imputes while in the full screen option and come back to either option (4 or 0) the image plays/appears OK for about 2 seconds then goes back to solid purple. I just can't understand why this is happening especially when the on-screen menu displays perfectly fine. I cannot enjoy this TV by only watching half of it in split mode. Besides the multiple replacement bulbs I've had to buy I've completely had it with this TV

When trying to connect a phillips soundbar/dvd player into my tv using the HDMI cables/ports - it said it was not HDCP compatible. We tried teh different HDMI ports

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or video reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the W4207 HD Monitor and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the Westinghouse Service Center or an experienced technician for assistance.
DVI CONNECTION: Connect a Digital DVI cable from your computer to the W4207 HD Monitor DVI port. Using a 3.5mm mini cable to RCA Red/White (Left/Right) audio converter cable, connect the 3.5mm cable plug into the computer

The only connections that work are the component cables(color stream, RGB-Red, Green, Blue) which I understand is a better quality picture but the connections for my DVD player are RCA (Composite - Red,...

You'll need a DVD player that has component outputs. The composite carries the entire video information, while the component sends the three different color signals separately. The red and white cables are output cables. No all DVD players have the component outputs.

Green line down left side and geen snow

Horizontal or vertical bars on the screen could be from an ac line interference, adjacent magnetic field, bad input wire connections.....especially HDMI connector cables. A bad HDMI cable causes all kinds of unwanted picture interference. Check the conditon of all connection wires for proper fit and function. Keep in mind the method in which you connect your tv will result how the tv performs. As well this line problem could be a circuit issue too, requiring a technician to look at it.

Open up the TV and unplug and re-plug the connectors to the circuit boards. This is most often caused by a poor connection of the circuit board connectors.

Convergence not lining up

Sounds like the green is out of focus. If the focus control for the green does not control it enough to make the width the same as the red, then, the lens on top of the green can be adjusted to focus that tube. On the lens, there is a wing nut on a screw to loosen it and move the lens left or right a bit to help with the focus. Hope this helps.
