You have to check the patient cable of you machine first. you have to check the LF (left foot ) lead of the cable. if there is any other cable you can try it with that. if there is any other ecg machine you have which has the same connector. then try with that also. if the cable found faulty then replace it. Is there is any trace ( line trace ) in the paper for lead 1 to v 6 if not , the problem is with thermal printer of you machine. if so you have to contact the nearest schiller authorized service center. Because the thermal printer head is not available in the open market.

With leads hook correctly machine contuines to flat line

Check your RL (green) lead or trunk cable.

Right leg is the ground so (if it's bad) you won't get a QRS complex.

We are experts in fixing the Bionet 2000 ekg machines.

1) Is the machine plugged in to the wall when you are getting interference? If so, unplug it
2) Your patient cables may be malfunctioning, do they look damaged?
3) Are the electrodes expired?
4) make sure and prep the patient

If you are still having issues, send the machine to us at Discount Cardiology. We will look at it for free and let you know what is wrong with it. You then would have the option of fixing the machine or having it sent back to you.

Welsh allen at-2 lead light is on however ekg machine will not give tracing

There is some problem with the patient cable. Any one of the lead is broken inside. AT2 senses the presence of all the lead first and then only it will acquire the ECG and store it in its memory, after that it will print the ECG.
If any one of the lead have some problem. it will not go to the next procedure. and will indicate the lead off light.

1. check are you connected the lead correctly.
2. clean the electrode properly.
then try one more time. if problem remains. you have to replace the patient cable.

What is the solution for flat signal coming from electrode number six(V6)?

normally this complaint will erases when there is break in the lead. check the lead continuity. normally 0 ohms. some companies hve resistors in its rail, for that type of leads the ohms will be 10kohms ,22k, or 33k,

The print for the reading is dark and the lines are all over the place. Mac1200 Thanks, Draya

If the ecg waveforms are all over the place you are probally recieving electrical interferance. If that happens when nobody is connected try adjusting the filters and see if it makes a diffrence. If it does not make a diffrence it might be the patient cable or leads.

Inconsistant tracings, tracing goes flatline after the first 3 QRS complexes

Most likely you will have expired or cheap electrodes. Even if they stick to the patient there still may not be enough moisture in the electrode to conduct a signal. Either that or some of the lead wires may be damaged. All it takes is one intermittent lead to cause the problem you are asking about. The best thing to do is to start with he electrodes and then try the leads.

I ahve a schiller welch allen EKG machine, and now it only prints

If it stops printing completely in the middle of doing the print, it is because the battery is bad and needs to be replaced.
If it only prints some of the leads but it does print the full report it is because you have the leads mixed up (Wrong spot on the patient) or the leads are mislabeled or some of the clips or electrodes are bad.
I can fix these. Let me know if you need help.

I have the Welch Allyn PCR 100 and have never been able to get it to produce an ekg even though I returned it and they had it working, when I hook it up it just doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Could be bad\expired electrodes, mislabeled lead wires and the patient cable is loose. Also, if one lead is intermittently working it may not show any leads on the report because that one lead is bad. If it is an intermittent problem it could work just fine for somebody else and not you. I can work on this for you if you need more help.
