Open the back of the tv check th epower supply for busted/leaking or swollen capacitors - if you have experience solder some new ones in place - use the 105degress one for a longer lasting capacitor - the radio shack ones will work but they are rated at 85 degrees and wont last as long.

thanks,
michael

Hi,
Try to change the capacitors first. Normally lost of lcd tv have problems with the capacitors and which lead to powers problems. May you will not find visually that the capacitor is fault. So go for changing the capacitor also check the following video. Which will help you understand how to check the power supply broad. Also take care while working with the power board there is a risk or electric shock Also one of the capacitor in the power supply holds charge even when you have remove the power supply.

When I tried to hook my FLX 3210 up to my computer it failed to turn on at all. I used this same LCD T.V. with my old Acer Computer and had no problems at all.

you may be having a power supply failure. i have seen many problems with capacitors on the power board in those models. are there any lights on the front when it doesnt turn on? if it were a power supply problem then you would maybe get a red light or blue light come on then go back off,

Wont turn on

The problem usually is from low quality or defective "capacitors" on the main circuit board. There are two capacitors in particular on the main board that causes problems with these tv's. You can check for swelled up capacitors or burn marks on the circuit board. You can also purchase an analog tester or ohmmeter and test the capacitors.
If for some reason these caps test to be ok, then test the power inverter.

Samsung LCD tv wont turn on

what the full model number of your tv?
the clicking sound is the result of a faulty power supply, some capacitors(blown heads) on the power supply for the output voltage rail of the mains board need to be replaced.

pls rate me!

TV turns on for a split second then back to standyby

i think your capacitor is blown, do a google search for insignia, lcd, capacitor...
you can buy another one for about $2 but its a pain to install, you can also instead buy a new powerboard for about $80, its an east install and you wont blow more capacitors
