My HISENSE TC2106D has lost its original colour,the screen has many colours and even when you switch to black and white the colours are are stil there.what do i do,any help?

hi there, you have a color section or video section problem, check the crt board, there may be and open resistor or jumper, check those transistor driver too. check the small board at the back of the crt tube, do some test and see any cold solder. ty

View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. Some times, the ads attached with each posts, both at the right and bottom, might help you to find the availability of spare parts. There are more than 875 posts to different brand TVs now.


Pull up older posts there and check the post discussing about 'One color predominant screen' problem. You will get an idea of the problem to your TV.

  • Hi, have you activated the Reverse colours function? Go to Settings / General / Accessibility / Invert Colours
  • did you drop it by any chance? My boy dropped his and we got the dreaded black screen one time - then we gave it the hard smack treatment on the backside to release the jammed accelerometer - this worked perfectly the 1st time it happened, the 2nd time he dropped it we reverted to strange black and white colours, the smacking continued, and the colours came back.

I have an Epson XP-202 printer which I use solely as a black and white copier. Accidentally I pressed the colour button for a copy which ( as the original colour cartridges are still in the machine) has...
Not sure about Epson but I had the same problem and the store where I buy my ink said that a lot of the printer companies require all the color cartridges with ink in them to work. My color use to disappear even if I just pushed black and they said that was the way they were made . They sell printers quite cheap but make their money on the ink. I got rid of mine and purchased a black only ink jet and it hardly uses any ink at all. Its a powder. You can copy many copies on eighty dollars worth of ink where the cartridges I went through several hundred dollars a year.

Why cannon ip3000 can't print in only black and white although I choose grey scale priting?
Not sure of the QUESTION..? Do you want to print colour or black and
white..? Anyway,try this, bring up image , at top left click on Fix , at top
right click on Auto Adjust then go down to Adjust Colour click on and
hold Saturation Slider move to left to remove colour ,right to add colour
go to print and it should give you a black / white image. Remember to
return image back to original colour or image will return to file in b/w

Hey dude, I had this problem and found a solution on another website. Basically, I had either changed the display settings on my tv, or it had done it by itself or my new ps3 had done it or whatever, but to fix it I went into the TV menu, went to display options, on my tv it has something entitled 'Colour system' I changed that to PAL-60 and I now have colour, just to give you an idea of whether you have the same problem, try setting your x-box display to pal-50 and see if that shows colour (if it's easier to do), if it does then try then solution above! Hope it helps!

I have a Toshiba Regza 32lv 703G lcd tv. I switched it on and I have lost my colour. It only displays in black and white although the menu screen is till displaying in colour. Kindly advise. Thanks!
It is pretty much junk, sorry to say it but your picture tube went out and it is cheaper to buy a new t.v. My grandpa use to fix them for us for free but he passed:( If you call some where see how much they would charge for a picture tube, I bet it's expensive???

Problem with a colour display on Hisense tv
If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.

Difference between ''Auot Color'' and ''Full Color Mode
Most Colour machines have three settings.

Auto Colour, Machine will determine if the original is Colour or Black and White from its scan. Then print in the format that best suits the original.

Full Colour, Machine will copy in full Colour regardless of Original type.

Black and White, Machine will copy or scan in B & W regardless of original type.

Picture only shows in black & white when playing DVD
Same problem with an older JVC player. One end of the S-video cable was loose. Pushed in in tight and everything ok again. Cheap fix if it works for you.
