Hello,

Please click on the link below for the section of the service manual which covers the information you requested.

http://media.fotki.com/1_p,stwkkwgwfdqkrwsxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/rwsrrbdrxrbtwwdffsxwtrfgfwgs/1/1303472/5961857/image1335834229307956745img-or.jpg

The image will open in a new browser window and will enlarge to full size if you click on it. Basically you need to push down on the bottom centre of the overflow tray and either pull the frame outwards from the bottom or lever it out carefully with a flat-head screwrdriver or similar.

Hope this helps. If I've misunderstood which part you are trying to remove, please let me know. You can reply to me by clicking on "Add a Comment" below your question.

Regards,
BElectric

How to remove Kenmore ice maker 363.59572994?

I sure hope you got an awesome deal on that refrigerator. I would hate to think they charged extra for the mouse :-) Unfortunately, the ice bucket in this model does not just slide out like your other one did. You should be able to remove the front cover & flap of the ice bucket to reveal the ice maker and yes, it is bolted in. below is an exploded parts diagram of the ice maker. As you can see, the whole thing can be taken apart - of course you then have to put it back together. If it were me, I would toss it & replace the ice maker rather than try to disinfect/ sterilize the one in there. Good Luck!!

Remove ice maker?

Yes you can just remove the ice maker and no cover is necessary for the female connector, it will not harm the operation of the unit at all. You just need to use trays if you want ice.

Model 106.57036601 Ice maker quit working couple days ago had water off in whole house, had to repair a water pipe in the restroom.

There are a couple or three ways to test your ice maker and dual water control valve to identify the location of the problem. By looking at what the ice maker did on its last cycle or the lack of a cycle will help a lot. If ice maker has old cubes then the ice maker has not cycled and that tells me that the ice maker has been turned off or it has become defective. Another test is to pour tap water into the empty slots if there was not old cubes there. Allow the water to freeze and if the ice maker cycles and dumps the cubes into the ice container that would indicate a defective dual water valve=> 4389177 Water Valve Kit- Double Outlet The first three numbers of your model tells me it was made by Whirlpool and that tells me that removal of the front cover of ice maker you have test points. If me knowing what I know of ice makers I would be prepared to change both ice maker core=> 2198597 Ice maker - Replacement
Below is a short You-Tube ice maker help tutorial by the Appliance Assistant that can be very helpful. Should you have questions please ask, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Water on the top shelf of the refrigerator

Your defrost drain is clogged and now the defrost drain trough has filled with ice causing the water from your defrost cycles to flow into the fresh food section. You will need to clear all ice form thr drain area and this is done thru the freezer wall and some models also have a removable bottom panel in the freezer that has to come out also to get to the drain. You can do this it will just take a little time. About an hour for a first timer with little experience. Good luck and hope this helps

I need to remove front ice maker cover on whirlpool ed22tqxew00

I'm no expert, and I am myself trying to figure out my ice-maker issue (no ice) but I think it might also depend on your model and how old it is. Mine is 4-5 years old so here's how it is in mine:
If the icemaker cover lifts bottom-up, (and hits the light switch on the top) ... then there are 2 slots into which the cover's center area mini-protrusions (for lack of a better word) are fitted. It's a shift to release mechanism (the release is to push the holders away from the protrusions).

Ice Maker Overfills With Water

Ice maker has adjustment on right side of power head. If ice maker is inside on upper left, you can remove white cover from it and the adjusting screw in on right. Turning counter-clockwise will decrease fill by 1/2 to 3/4 of ounce. Sounds like a small amount, but ice make only uses 4 ounces per fill. If this does not fix, try replacing fill valve. If ice maker ice bin is in the freezer door, you have to remove cover to ice maker in the top of freezer. Ice maker is screwed into top of freezer and need to be removed to take off cover to adjuster screw. same procedure for reducing water flow time as above.

Ice maker isn't working

the fingers should "normally" be in the 2 o'clock position facing the front of the icemaker. what we need to do is remove the front cover of the i/m look at the big gear in the center of the gear should be 2 clips that hold the gear in place. sometimes this clips will either break off or become compressed and then it doesnt allow i/m operation. the part is very easy to replace your self you need pt#8201515 that can be purchased thru a local appliance parts supply house or online thru  some place like sears.com. good luck peyton..

by depressing the door switch and ice dispenser lever at same time. The motor ohms out
but because of amount of water removed from it I am going to replace it and see what happens.

Icemaker stopped making ice

remove the front plastic cover on the icemaker and you will see a bunch of little holes make a jumper wire out #10 or 12 house wire strip about 1/4 inch off the ends an insert in the holes marked t&h this will start a test cycle make sure you hold the plastic insulation so you don't get bit if the ice maker starts cycling remove the wire and watch for it to stop listen for the icemaker valve to open if the ice maker finishes and the valve didn’t fill replace the water valves if the icemaker doesnt cycle and you may have to kind of twist the jumper back and forth to get it to make contact depending on the gauge you used then replace the ice maker motor module if you hear the valve open and the ice maker doesnt fill check for a frozen ice fill tube that should do it
