    I would actually prefer that you got paid from helping the guy, if you could post your solution into the premium also

Since these are gamers the opportunity is just too hard to resist, lol. I just hope that they stay within the own little "one ring circus". I can see why Lauren appreciates pictures for avatar though that will never change. 
However, businesses like PayPal will allow one the use of their services but will add the designation "Verified" once you complete that verification procedure. Might be an idea in this concept for FixYa's consideration. Steve

yer, user names pop upon his other repairs as wll. I hate liars... makes a mockery of the work we do in here to see this sort of carry on. Wonder how long it will take admin to get rid of him.... if they even bother to. They don't seem to can experts that do the wrong thing easily. Guess thy all need a second chance, but his last comment about free money being first on premiums says it all. Someone told him that or he would not be doing it.

Well, best thing is to choose queries that are complete and that you are comfortable with. Also the ones asking for drivers, manuals, etc that should be easy to find.
I also take time to research the answers and provide all possible solutions in the first answer itself..most askers want immediate answers, and I try to avoid the queries where you know the asker has to get a repair done. Even if so, i try to provide as much information on troubleshooting as possible, before mentioning in the last line "if all these methods are unsuccessful you will probably have to get the device repaired or purchase a new one, whichever works out cheaper for you". Most cases they are happy with that statement.
I also used to add a template text regarding ratings in the past, and I notice now that I used to get a higher percentage of Fixyas and Helpfuls. I dont do that much these days, and have noticed a drop. Maybe I should start again.

Here's another tip. I go to my unrated solutions which are more than 2 weeks old and post this:
"Hello,

This thread has gone 14 days or more without a response. Please close the thread with a “FixYa” or “Helpful” rating.

If the issue is not resolved, please post back with latest developments, what steps you took, etc. and I will assist you further as best I can.

Thank you.
IrishDruid"


Well,actually I just tried that yesterday, and I got an unbelievable amount of ratings..I got 46 of my old unsolved posts rated in 24 hrs. Most of them either Fixya or Helpful. Of course, you do get the odd T$T and Inapps, but that is mostly negligible..

Here are my stats for the past 3 days. Notice the huge number of posts rated after I sent that notice:
29-May 369 88.33% 122 90 76 0 30-May 384 88.35% 126 93 78 1 31-May 427 88.09% 134 111 82 3 Format: Date | Votes | Rating | Fixya | Helpful | T4T | Inapp

Of course, my rating dropped dratically because of those buggering Inapps..but you get the picture...

Refresh method

really u r doing a very fine job in fixya brother.. it makes me feel proud.. really great u know.. u have a bright future in fixya specially... :)

different seconds level means.. not difficult thing..
when u use a refresher software we set the seconds to be 15 seconds or so for every single refresh..... so have two windows of refreshers open./... keep one window in 10 seconds and other at 15 seconds.. if u do so even one premium wont miss ur eyes..

tat s wat i do when i was in full form.. but now a days i am busy with some works and so find very little time online..

and i am from chennai(india)... do u have any friends from here?
