Question about Mitsubishi Televison & Video
when you say no fluorescent display, does this means the screen display of the player is blank? If the screen is blank, are you sure the player is turned on? Because if the player is not turned on, then there is no way the player is going the eject the cassette.
There are two things involved, it is either the player is having a power problem or the tape has coiled inside the player. This can cause the cassette not to eject.
So you can turn off the player, remove it from the wall, get a screw driver, open the player and check if the cassette it coiled inside. After that, turn on the player and see if the cassette is going to move or make any noise.
If it doesn't make any noise, then know that your player is having a power problem.
Keep me posted and let me know the out come.
