Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
This sound like there is a refrigerant leak.Only some of the refrigerant has escaped but not all.
The leak needs to be repaired and the fridge regassed.

It is most likely a bad damper motor. This is where the cool air comes out into the fridge section. On this model it is a fairly common problem and comes a whole assembly. The part # is WR49X10091 and will cost anywhere from $100 to $122. Knowing this model I would bet this is your problem. If the damper is bad and stuck open cold air will just keep blowing in. It is suppose to open and close based on the temp setting. Let me know if you have any other questions.
