The water is too cold in our newton water cooler. Is there an adjustment to make it warmer?

Yes there is an adjustment. Your water cooler should have a temperature control The enclosed adjustable thermostat is factory presetand should require no adjustment other than for altitude requirements. The temperature control should also be easily accessible.

Without specific model information difficult to identify where the temperature control may be located on your unit.

You might vist their website to identify your model. A search by model number may find more useful information on accessing and adjusting the temperature control.

Trust this is helpful.

Dehumdifier not collecting water.

It may be that the humidity level or temperature in the room where your dehumidifier is located is too low.

When the outdoor temperature is below 50 F, the indoor air will be dry even when the air inside is warm, therefore when it's cold outside the dehumidifier may collect little or no water.

Air conditioners will also remove moisture from the room, even if it's hot and humid outside, resulting in little or no moisture collecting in the dehumidifier bucket.

Some dehumidifiers have a deicer which turns off the compressor but keeps the fan running. When the compressor is off, moisture is not removed from the air. The deicer turns off the compressor when the room temperature is cold.

Some dehumidifiers do not have a deicer. If the room temperature is low enough, ice may form on the evaporator coil. The ice prevents the dehumidifier from removing and collecting water. If ice forms on coils, unplug dehumidifier until ice melts and room temperature rises.

The filter (on some models) may be dirty or clogged. If so, clean the filter. For instructions on cleaning the filter.

I hope this help to solve, if this answer solve it, remember to rate it. Good luck.

If i am away for any length of time, do i put the temp on vacation? does the water still get warm?

Since you didn't provide the brand & model of the thermostat, only generic help can be provided.

Most furnaces that run on oil or gas, make hot water all the time, 24 / 7 - winter, summer and everything between so to speak. They are controlled by an aquastat that may be set for any value between 140 - 180 degrees F. This is called "hot start" - simply because when the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the room (turning heat ON), the water is already hot in the furnace, and is circulated immediately. If it was a "cold start", you'd have to wait for the water in the furnace to heat up from room temperature. This would substantially increase the amount of time it would take to heat the room.

Generally, the "vacation mode" simply halts the program from running. If your thermostat changes temperatures several times during the day / night, it will simply hold the lowest temperature - or a predetermined temperature built in - or chosen by you. You'll need to consult your manual to determine just how your thermostat handles the vacation mode setting. Post again if you can't find the manual - but tell us what brand and model it is.

I hop ethis helps - good luck!

Many heating thermostats don't allow for setting a temperature below 45 degrees F so freeze ups shouldn't be a problem.

Hi.. we'll feel cold after taking bath from? 1. cold water 2 water at 40 c 4 water at room tempreature 3 water at 50c

"we'll feel cold after taking bath from?"
(Let's assume room temperature of the bathroom is 25 c.)

1. cold water
Assuming cold water means below room temperature, for example, 22 c. One taking a bath in water at this temperature would probably feel cold DURING his bath at least at first. However, a cold bath would tend to bring blood to the capillaries under your skin and create a warming sensation. But after you get of the bath tub, you would definitely feel cold unless the room were heated!

3) water at 50c
Most folks would feel quite hot while in the water at this temperature. And after exiting the tub, since the layer of water on his skin would probably still be well above body temperature (37 c), a chill would not set in until the water on his skin cooled down to below body temperature. So if he quickly dried off, he would avoid feeling cold.

2 water at 40 c
While almost completely immersed in the bath water, one would certainly feel warm unless there were a draft in the room, because 40 c is 3 degrees above normal body temperature. For the same reason as stated above (#3), he could escape feeling cold outside the tub if he dried off quickly.

4) water at room temperature
- If I had to select only answer, I would choose this condition that would make one feel cold after stepping out of the bath tub, because:

Upon exiting the tub of water at room temperature, one would certainly feel cold if there were a draft in the room. Even if there were no draft, one would still feel cold, because the water on his skin would be cooler than his body heat (37 c), and cause a finite evaporation of the thin layer of water on his skin, which is a cooling process. The skin's heat would be lost, because its energy would be used to evaporate the water.

Oasis water cooler taps started dripping

if the cooler is a hot and cold, even if its a cook and cold, the cooler always needs to be cleaned and maintained, not only on the inside but on the outside, as the cooler is used calcium builds up over time. that is why your taps are leaking, there is a build up in the taps, therefor the taps are not sealing properly and letting some water thru. i say take the taps out and clean them with vinegar.
the second thing u can do is the taps do come apart into smaller peices once u disconnect them from the cooler. take the taps apart and find the spring located within it, stretch the spring and than reconnect the peices together than reconnect to the water cooler.
