sounds like the blue screen of *****. could be a software problem. Try starting a recovery.

Thankfully any Windows recovery disk will work, you just need to determine if your operating system is 32 or 64bit

• click on the Start menu, then right Click on "computer" in the right hand column and choose "Properties
• Under the "System" section it should say "System type:" followed by a 32 or a 64

then you need to get a hold of a windows recovery cd:

If the computer can still boot into Windows, you have the option to create discs using the HP recovery manager.
If the computer's hard drive is still functioning, press F11 on boot to enter the Recovery Manager interface.

This is classed as a serious problem maybe involving motherboard repair/replacement

May its your hard disk wish have a problem. Try to install your OS on an external hard disk or change the internal hard disk. See what happen. if it show blue screen it may be an hardware error.

try to check the panel for the lcd. it might be busted

if u have OS installed on hard drive there is a separate partition on hard drive that hold OS files in a safe place in case u lose ur recovery disk u can get ur system reset to Factory Default without recovery disk

if u want to factory reset ur system without recovery disk u can do following but it is always safe to have recovery disk in store in case ur hard disk crashes and u are in trouble
