Hi

If there is water leaking that can be the main seal on the motor shaft failing. Also Double check your drain hose is both attached and that there are no splits in the hose. If the hose has come off you will obviously need to reattach it, if it is split you have to replace. Also check the water level whether it is too high for the amount of clothes. This has caused excessive splashing resulting in water spilling on to the floor. Use a lower water level.

Mw Daewoo fridge freezer FRS-20321BE is leaking water copiously from the refrigerator I cannot see any source for this but puddles form and flow internally under the veg box. Help!

All depends on how much water is collecting. A lot of water indicated a leak from the ice maker. A small amount and it's probably a clogged condensate drain. Here's a YouTube video on a different brand showing a clogged drain, your may be similar (or not), but it might give you an idea as to where to look. Refrigerator dripping water inside FIX

Freezer leaking water even though water turned off

Is the water leaking from the door, onto the floor in front. If so, probably a blocked drain outlet or pipe. At the bottom rear of the unit, mine had a drain pipe blocked with a plug of mould (5/6 years old machine), apparently quite common. I detached the pipe and cleaned it out and replaced it.
From inside the freezer, I removed the lower back panel and thawed the ice build up on the drainage tray below the defrost heating element, leading to the pipe outside. The puddles of water that was appearing every defrost cycle have now stopped - permanently I hope. Hope this helps you

Every couple of days there is a puddle of water coming from unit..shut off water source and still leaked water?! HELP!

Is the hose from the freeze compartment in the drain pan? Or is the drain pan leaking? The unit is going into a defrost and that is where the water is coming from. It drains into a drain pan where it evaporates over time......Check the drain line and the drain pan. Is there ice in the bottom on the freezer maybe the drain is pluged inside and the excess is seeping out the door during defrost. Hope this helps....

Water leak from under refrigerator

Only two possible sources for a leak one is an ice maker, the other is defrost drain water. Either way it is only 9 months old and still under full warranty!! Call sears and have them come and look at it! I have seen a few of these units with cracked drain pans so be persistent if the tech cannot find a leak, have him pour some water into the pan to see if there is a crack.
good luck and save yourself some stress.. You have a warranty to cover this:)

I have a puddle of water under my Rheem gas water heater. I clean up the water and then it puddles up again. I can not find the source of the water leak.

Depending on age, your tank may be rusted through. Different mineralization of the water can ****** or speed up a tank failure. Most water heaters have at least a 5 year, many a 10 year warranty but none will last forever, 'glass lined' or not.

Water leak from Refrigerator

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

I have a puddle forming on the freezer side of the maytag msd2756gew side by side refrigerator. It seems i have a leak. what could be leaking and how do i fix it?

Your Ice Maker could be leaking or the defrost drain behind the back freezer wall could be blocked with ice or another source of blockage leading down to the pan below your refrigerator where the water is heated by the evaporator fan and replaced back into the air inside your home. You will need to unplug the power before going into the back of your freezer. Let me know if you would like help. Sea Breeze

I beleive the power steering fluid is leaking. The rerve is very low and there are a small puddle of fluids. First, what causes it to leak and is it easy to repair myself or do I need a Mechanic? I have...

The leak can be from the power steering pump, hose or rack. You must visually inspect it to locate the leak. Jack up the vehicle, place on safety stands, block rear wheels, check directly above the puddle of fluid, which could be traveling some distance before it gets to the point where it's dripping on the ground forming the puddle. Get a mirror on an extending handle at a parts store to help you trace the leak to it's source. So, to answer your question, the leak can be caused by a bad (loose) connection, a split in a line, a bad seal, etc. You have to track down the source to determine what needs to be repaired, replaced, or tightened to stop the leak. If you have the tools and determination to fix it, you can. Once you find out where it is leaking (and if it is in fact the power steering) you can post for more assistance, and it would probably be a good idea to purchase a repair manual to help guide you for this repair and future projects.
