Under service menu when reset, and back to regular mode it still shows the number of pages printed anyway. Is there a way to reset the main page counter back to 0?

To Enter Service Mode:
Hold down the Online and Escape buttons while turning on the power. Hold down buttons till "Please Wait" comes up. It will start in Service Mode.

Go to Engine, then Data Log, then PM Counter Reset, then the counter that needs resetting.

Ricoh CL2000, How do I enter service mode, and reset (CMY page counters)?

What are you trying to do? Some counters do not reset. Only those for consumable items can be reset.

Just replaced the fuser maintenance kit. How do you reset the fuser counter? It still shows 0% left even after turning the printer off.

It all depends on which model printer you have, which you didn't specify. Normally fusers don't need to be reset though. Search the manufacturer's website to see if you can find the manual, which should contain information on how to reset consumable counters.

The machine says "replace ozone filter" i did that but the message won't reset itself. is there something i can do to reset it?

On most models of Color Bizhub machines, to reset the ozone filter message you must go into service mode. Press the Utility/Counter button on your operation panel, select meter count, then detail, press stop,0,0,stop,0,1. This will put you in service mode. Find and press counter button, Locate life counters, and clear ozone filter. You will not be able to clear some of the counters in this menu. They are automatically cleared when the items are replaced.

How to reset black drum counter OKI C3300 ?

Buy a pack of 10 x .062A (1/16A) pico fuse RS part No 738-3062. Switch off printer. Remove the drum and toner together from the drum slot to be reset. Carefully crimp the legs of the fuse around the contact wires on the right side of the drum slot. Make sure fuse legs are making a good connection to the wires and aren't touching the frame. switch on printer and allow it to detect the absence of the drum. Switch off printer and carefully remove the now blown fuse. Re-install the toner and drum assemnbly. Drum life is now reset. see pic:

EP4000. Have maintenance soon: M2

The M2 code is associated with one of the maintenance counters, these counters track the life of key consumables in your machine.
The counter needs to be reset, but in doing that you may cause a problem for yourself down the road. It would be preferable to have a Tech check the counter vs the condition of the consumable it is tracking.

As for looking for a Tech, you didn't say what part of the world you are in.
I am in western Canada, so I would like to help you but travel costs might be prohibitive.

Have a great day.

Try this - WARNING - will reset everything to factory defaults

The machine must be put back into "Shipping Mode" in order for the consumable counters to reset.

In order to place the printer back in "Shipping Mode" do the following:

2. Press (0) five times until "ENGINE DIAG MODE XX.XX" is displayed.

3. Press the (2) and (4) keys simutaneously, "ENGINE DIAG LEVEL 3" should now be displayed.

4. Press the (5) key once, "LOCAL PARAMETER SET" should now appear on the display.

5. Press the (6) key three times until "FACTORY WORKING MODE" is displayed.

6. Once "FACTORY WORKING MODE" is displayed, press (3) once so "Shipping Mode" (Fuse Cut Enabled) is displayed in the bottom line.

7. Next press and hold (3) & (7) together, until "Shipping Mode" stops flashing.

8. Power the printer off and back on, now the printer will reset the consumable counters. ecblank.gif ecblank.gif ecblank.gif
