Can't get WF-3520 cartridge holder box from far right position so I can remove & replace an ink cartridge

To force cartridge removal do the following
Shut down the printer (if it is powered on)
Now turn the printer on
When you see that the carriage starts to move instantly unplug the printer power cable
Now you can move the carriage freely by hand!
Move it in the cartridge change position and change the cartridge you want to change

Do it just if the printer has a defective cartridge and the carriage won't go to the cartridge change position :)
Hope you found it useful!

How to change the inkjets

  1. Open the top panel of your inkjet printer. You should be able to access the ink cartridges once the top is open. Some printers will reposition the cartridge carriage to provide you better access.

  2. 2

Remove the old cartridge from the carriage. Depending on the printer, you may need to press down on the cartridge and then pull outward to remove it. Other printers may require you to lift the cartridge out of the printer.

  3. 3

Unpackage the new replacement cartridge completely. New cartridges will often include plastic strips and protective packaging that must be removed before you can insert the cartridge into the printer.

  4. 4

Insert the new cartridge into the printer. This will be the reverse of removing the old cartridge.

  5. 5

Close the top panel of your inkjet printer and allow the printer to detect the new cartridge. You should now be able to print using your newly changed inkjet cartridge.

What is the cause of my printer o be saying change cartrige when i already change it

It may be some reasons:

1. Cartridge incorrectly changed. Just be sure to remove and set the new cartridge correctly.
2. No good connection. Sometimes ink spills on the cartridge connectors OR the protective plastic still set on the cartridge. Clean the connectors with a soft cloth and be sure to remove the plastics - see installation guide on cartridge.
3. No procedure was done. To change a cartridge correctly, some printers require a procedure for it, be sure to read the user manual how to change cartridge.

Other non-common issues: bad new cartridge, faulty printer, software or firmware glitch, etc,

HP officejet pro 8500 ink cartridge problem

Changing a printer cartridge is not complex but improper handling of the parts may damage the printer and the cartridge. If the user notices that while printing the ink comes out dry or faded, it may be time to change the ink or the toner. The user will know if it is time to change the toner because instead of a sharp image, one will get a faded image. It is time to change the ink cartridge when the printing comes out spotty or colors are used to replace others —for instance, blue for black or yellow for red. Remember, faded images signal the need to change the toner; spotty printing signals the need to change the ink cartridge get more help for change cartridge .
Hope this helps you.
