Sounds like a faulty fan oven element. To replace: Disconnect from power (usually easiest to switch off at fuse box). Remove racks etc from inside oven. Remove rear panel inside oven- four screws. You will now see a heating element that goes around the fan- often you see blow mark on element. You need to remove the back panel of oven to access the nuts that hold element in- two nuts, undo nuts, remove wiring from element. New element available from any good appliance repair shop. Reverse procedure to refit. Happy fixing!!

Assuming you have electronic ignition, It's most likely the ignitor. Try the broiler, if it lights you can be almost certain it's the ignitor. Changing it is not all that hard. BE SURE TO UNPLUG OR TURN BREAKER OFF BEFORE YOU START! You need to take the bottom panel out of the oven. The may be a second cover over the burner. The ignitor is most likely in the back. It will look like a bent up square rod and will most likely be screwed to the back or bottom of the oven. Once you have it loose there will most likely be just 2 wires, be sure to mark where they connect before you disconnect them. Connect the new ignitor just like the old one and replace in the same position as the old one was. Replace the covers and your done. You can most likely get a replacement at your local Heating & Cooling or Hardware stores.
