Fan keeps cutting off after being taken apart and cleaned

If it was wired wrong it wouldn't run. I would suspect uneven tightening of the motor screws.

Cuts off unexpectively

In the control panel, there is an icon for power settings. Set the fan for maximum cooling. Make sure the exhaust ports on the computer are blown out. Don't use the computer on a soft surface.
