I had bought an ipad wifii and a new mtnl wifii connection last week. My mac could connect to the wifii network seamlessly, but am facing problems with ipad connectivity. Ipad could connect with the wifi and i could use internet for 15 minutes, but after 15 minutes the internet connection stops responding.Could see the wifi symbol on my ipad by could not access the net. I am forced to go switch of/on the router everytime to get the connection again. Is it an ipad problem or a router problem.

I was very happy when I got my hands on the new iPad. I didn't notice this at first, but when I took the tablet into my backyard, and my iPhone was able to pick up my router signal without a hassle; the iPad didn't pick up the network at all. This became a nightmare for me. A friend suggested trying the "Forget This Network" reset method, which used to work on the older models, but this didn't improve the wifi range at all. Right when I lost all hope, I came across WIRED magazine and found a review of Pong Research cases, After seeing the great feedback on their products, I bought one and it finally solve the <a rel='nofollow' href="http://www.pongresearch.com/new-ipad.html">new iPad 3 wifi issues</a> . The back cover has a built-in antenna in between its layers, which redirects and boosts the signals and range, allowing me to getting connected from much further away.

There were some random wifi issues with ipads early on but the most recent updates through itunes have corrected those. So best thing would be to connect to your computer and make sure its updated. if that doesn't work, may be a range issue, they dont have the longest reception.

How to connect your Apple iPad to the Internet

Connecting your Apple iPad to the internet is very simple. When you use a application that requires internet capabilities your iPad will do several things.

-The iPad will attempt to connect using the last Wi-Fi network you used that is available.

-If no network you previously used is available, the iPad will show a list of networks in range. You can then tap a network and if needed, enter a password to join the network. Any network with a locked Icon will require a password. These are secure networks.

-If no networks are available or if you don't choose one, the iPad will then connect over a cellular data network.

What is the difference between a cellular and Wi-Fi network? A Wi-Fi network is generally faster, but covers less of an area. Think of your home wireless network, or a wireless network at a library. It has limited range. A cellular network is generally slower but covers a larger area. Normally, if you are connected to a cellular network you will see a 3G icon or E icon at the top of your device. Also, you normally pay to use a cellular network.

To see all the Wi-Fi networks in range: From the Home screen, choose Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap a network to join it.

NBN was connected yesterday but cant figure out how to input the new security code on my iPad. The new mini iPad connected without hassle and so did the PC. The iPad doesn't ask for the security code it...

This may fix your problem... Clear the cache that is stored in the settings.go to general settings ...look for safari ....empty browser history and cache.

then scan for any networks on the wifi settings....when you get to your router....don't enter password or try to connect to it....click right chevron to get to page that says forget network ....then rescan .....this time enter your password....it should connect.....Apple products are not happy if you change or update passwords on routers already configured.

How do i find what my wi-fi is. is there a list? for my new gb64 apple iPad

Once you pick a wifi you want to connect then enter the password and it should allow you to connect.iPads are notorious at remembering old passwords for any previous connection so if you still can't connect you need to scan the wifi then instead of connecting click the right arrow to get to forget network.then rescan...then re input new password.viola!

Safari cannot connect to server on my ipad

Try rebooting your ipad and see if the problem still persists, if not then try go into settings -> WiFi -> then click your network your network and click forget Network, then try to connect to the network again. Or if you use your sim's network then turn off then turn on the mobile network option in the settings menu.
If it still doesnt work, then something is wrong with your WiFi or mobile network. Best thing would be to lodge a complaint or wait for a few days as these things usually sort themselves out on their own. Hope I helped :) !

How do I print out of ipad 2

If you have a Mac you can do it this way

Make sure you have the Pages app installed on your iPad.
Connect the iPad to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.
Open iTunes, then locate your iPad in the source list and select the Apps tab. Scroll down to access the File Sharing Pane.
The File Sharing Pane is a centralized location where you can manage the transfer of documents to and from your iPad. To print, transfer the desired document from the iPad to the Mac's hard drive. Then simply open and print using a device connected to that Mac or a device on the Mac's network.

Alternatively, e-mail yourself any documents you want to print, then open them on a Mac with printer access and print from there.

Printing using apps

Shop around. Each printing app works a little differently. When PCMag.com originally reported on iPad printing apps in April 2010, it found few that worked particularly well -- and several that didn't work at all. No doubt this trend has continued as developers continue to bring out new apps.
PrintCentral is an app that can be used with iPad, iPhone and iTouch. Its developers tout it as a one-stop-shop for mobile printing needs. MacWorld has awarded it 4 out of 5 mice and EuroSmartz.com has named it its iPad App of the Week. It can print directly to most wireless printers.
Whether you opt for PrintCentral or another printing app, make sure to review any instructions carefully to get the best performance.
