Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Hi, is there some kind of issue with yahoo in mozilla firefox today? I can't see anything. I have no homepage. It's just a bunch of "Stuff". I don't know what else to call it. There is no lay out. It's working in IE but not in mozilla. It also keeps asking me to upgrade to Firefox 4.0 which I will not do. I will lose too many add ons I have. Is there some kind of server issue through mozilla? Thanks

Hi,

I believe there's no issue with mozilla, it could be the version of your mozilla or you need upgrade your mozilla with a new version that has Java Script Included or Flash player that is applicable to your computer.

First thing to do:

  • Check your Mozilla version
  • Check your Java Script and Flash player's version or if it's working.
  • Once the checking done. go to this link and find the best mozilla verision that is suitable to your computer:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+a+previous+version+of+Firefox
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Thank you.

I want to get rid of INBOX as my browser

Hi.
To change the homepage on firefox, first, go to whatever webpage you want as your new homepage.
Next, click and hold on the webpage logo that is on the address bar on your browser, and drag it to on top of the house logo for home.
Firefox will ask you if you wish to change homepages to the new one, tell it yes.

That should take care of your problem.

I hope this helps you out today, and good luck !

My mail id opening page about blank how can i solve the problem

If after signing in to Yahoo mail you get 'opening page about:blank', this is a screen resolution problem. This is not caused by a virus, trojan, spyware or anything like that! Yahoo have been making changes to the appearance of their home page and also their e-mail. As a result, the screen resolution of 800 x 600 on many PCs will no-longer allow you to sign in. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768
