Many times when dealing with a burnt component, a resistor for example, you will be able to read the underside of it where the component is not burnt. What is the component, or model of the device?

Good luck!

Sorry I don't know but I just wanted to advise you to obtain a circuit diagram as resistors rarely burn themselves out and the fault is likely to be an overload caused by other components on that circuit.

When warm, or playing loud it shuts down

Hi...
If you can solder and not electrocute yourself, there are some can shaped capacitors(condensers) in the power supply . They'll read something like 4700uF 50V
or 6800uf . Usually blue or black color. If theyre swollen or the plastic wrap around them is shrunk away, theyre bad

replace with same value but the voltage can be higher

P4004 - Blown Components

if burned components are on output stage or amplifier section on board..Then look at the oposite side of amp..Both amplifier section should be a mirror image oof componentc from other..that way you can know the values of parts. If they are on power supply section ..Then you might need manual if available..
