Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
Hi vlewis, if you are trying to print directly from your Pavillion to your Officejet wirelessly, you should set an AdHoc type of connection. but if you have a wireless router that you are connecting to, you should have an Infrastructure type of wireless connection. here are some key points you may need to look at.
AdHoc (PC to Computer wireless printing)
1.make sure that the wireless adapter on both devices are turned on.
2.the wireless network name or the SSID should be the same with both devices.
3.you will have to set the same wireless security (like WEP or WPA depending on the capability of the devices)
4.install the printer drivers and utility and make sure that your printer utility shows connection to the computer
i will follow this one up for infrastructure.
