Hi, finding that part will be very difficult, but you still maybe able to replace it with a suitable replacement, you see as long as it physically fits, is the same or greater current and voltage rating, and you can make a safe and secure connection to it, ANY switch will work. Often the rating is printed on the switch.
To this end, you could try **** Smith, Jaycar, Radio Spares, all have online catalogs, and you could browse the types.

Hello,
if you connect the boombox direct to the your mains of 240v, the appliances will blow up , to avoid that you need a step down transformer to connect the boombox before it goes into the mains source. you do not need any adapter, only if you want to use battery that is when you to swicth to 12v

How far do you put a bit in to know it's placed correctly. I'm trying to surprise my husband by removing some kitchen cabinets, but I'm not sure I put the bit in right and I don't know how to make the...

Find the reverse switch near the trigger. Press one direction for forward, in the middle is a trigger lock and the other direction is reverse. Dont surprize yourself and have the cabinet fall on you.

If you have short bits, put about 1/2 of it into the chuck. If you have long bits (about 2 inches long), put about 1/2 inch of it into the chuck.

Be aware that when the drill runs in reverse, the chuck tends to loosen and when that happens, your bit will fall out.

If Hubby has a bit holder, I'd suggest you use that and place the bit into the bit holder. Makes for a better reach.

Good luck on your project.

Will only turn in one direction

sounds like a switch problem. What happens when you switch direction is you switch polarity on the motor. if you open it there will be a part number on the switch which you might be able to buy a replacement of buy sticking this into ebay or google.

Power button

[I just posted this in another thread. I hope it helps.] My wife brought this camera home from work for me to look at. It had the sunken/broken power button problem.  The T-shaped hinge was broken where it connects to the power button section. I couldn't see any way to glue or repair it that would be strong enough so I came up with an alternate fix.
The actual power switch is below the broken button, just a touch below the "ON/OFF" text. I decided to make a button that pushed the switch directly rather than pivoting like the original.
I needed a push-button shaped object with a shoulder on it (so it wouldn't fall through the hole I was going to drill in the back). I ended up using a small green LED (3mm size I think). I drilled a hole big enough for it to move but not so big it would fall through. I cut the leads off flush with the body and sanded them flat. The hole I drilled lines up with the little bump on the original plastic switch piece.
So I put the LED in place, the original plastic piece over it and added a little bit of self adhesive felt (that you would stick on the bottom of something to protect your furniture) at the top where the silver button is (just to keep the original button from sinking inward). I put the back on the camera and checked that the power button clicked nicely. It did so I put the camera back together and it's as good as new.
And it has a snazzy green power button now.
So if you are handy you can probably fix the camera yourself.
Good luck - Greg
