Question about Garden
Didn't you get an instruction manual with your fish finder?
Fuse holders are not all alike. I'll try to explain how the common inline fuse holder is connected.
First, be sure there is no power to your wire.
Locate a good place on the wire that will be convenient for you should you need to change the fuse. Cut the wire in that place. Strip off the insulation just far enough so that there is no bare wire showing when the holder is together.
Twist the strands of the cable tightly together. Slide the endcaps from the fuse holder onto the wires first. Then put the crimp from the holder on the wire and squeeze with a crimping tool or pliers with "teeth", something that will dig the crimp tight in the wire. Do this for both cut ends of the cable.
Put the fuse inside the holder and twist the endcaps back on. Pull lightly to see if you have a good connection.
Reconnect the power and check that the fishfinder works.
hope this helps. If it does, I would appreciate a vote or comment. Thanks,
