Question about GE JVM1790 1000 Watts Convection / Microwave Oven
I have a JVM 192 002 convection microwave that the microwave part isn't heating. It runs and sounds like it is working but the food is still cold. I have heard there may be a fuse in the back that controls the microwave heat? The convection works perfect, just the microwave broke. PLEASE HELP!!
I see. Okay, well then I would expect there's a problem with a high voltage part, such as the diode, magnetron or transformer.
Your model number should be entered as JVM192002 and you can find exploded views here.
You can usually find GE parts for much less here.
There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.
