With a scart lead Connect the VCR's Scat (TV OUT PUT) to The TV's Scart ( IN PUT) Port 1 or 2 it doesn't matter which one, then take your aerial cable coming in from the roof & put it in your digi box(ANTENNA IN) Then a cable from (TV OUT ) on digi box in to(ANTENNA IN) on VCR or from digi box out to the VCR's SCAT IN with a scart lead.

The eject function on the DVD works only occasionally. The VCR function works perfectly. What is wrong? Thanks. Keith

Usually this means that the DVD tray has dust and dirt build up on the underside of the tray or the belt maybe slipping.

Copy and paste this link in your web browser for a detailed approach of how to fix it yourself.

Big Blur when i turn the tv on

Hi!

First of all please check the following things:

Press the TV button. Make sure the TV is plugged in. Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is “live” by plugging in something else. Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the remote control solutions. The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Front Panel Block in the Parental Control menu and press OK to uncheck the box. The TV might be performing a periodic diagnostic check. Wait for a few minutes for the TV to turn on.

If still the problem persists then check the following:

Maybe the cable/air function is set to the wrong position. The channel might be blank — change channels. If you’re watching your VCR and it’s connected with coaxial cable to the CABLE/ANTENNA jack, tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 (whichever channel is selected on the 3/4 switch on the back of your VCR). Also check to make sure the TV/VCR button on the VCR is in the correct mode (press the TV/VCR button on your VCR). Check antenna connections. Make sure all of the cables are firmly connected to the jacks. Try adjusting sharpness function to improve weak signals. Closed-captioning might be on. Check Closed Caption in the Setup menu.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

My Tv is turning off by itself

if all you want to do is disable the vcr portion turn the set on , install a blank vhs tape it has to be blank or the vcr will try to read it .and the tv and dvd should work fine. this is a timing problem in the vcr deck its not hard to fix but it is a pain.
