Question about Saeco Talea Giro Espresso Machine

1 Answer

I have just descaled the machine. I tried to pull out the brew group and it would not come out (I'm following the instruction to push the lever and pull). It does come out a bit but there seems to be something caught inside that wouldn't release the unit entirely.

A mechanical jam already happen. It will only release "the thing caught inside" when you manually do mechanical procedure like the machine do it when its on operation. Carefully do it and slowly, it will come out of course, you must push the lever and pull.
If you already release it the brew group, operate the unit- it will reset itself mechanically aligned.
I hope I give you idea solution for your problem.

a.) Group get of is place when it is not clear and and there is big pressure.
b.) Behind the group there is a switch that stops group motor when group reach the end. When that switch (micro switch) is not working correct the motor doesn't stop at the end and the pressure pulls it out.

When cleaning my Gaggia Titanium the brewunit got stuck and cannot move. It feels like it is askew with the right hand side (looking from the front) loose and the left side locked. The release lever is...

Remove the dredge drawer. Open the door. On the left side and towards the back of the brew group, there is a single screw. Remove the screw. Grab the handle and pull carefully, but firmly with a quick ****. The brew group should come out. There is a piece that remains in the machine. Slide the piece down and to the right and it will come off. Insert the piece into the hole on the backside of the brew group with the clip up. Tighten the screw and move brew group back into position. If your brew group did not come out please call your service center.
To return the brew group to the centered position, you first need to drop the funnel. To do this, look on the opposite side of the brew group from the handle. At the top you will see an object that looks like a sharks fin. If you follow this piece down you will see 2 horizontal bars on the brew group body. Push your finger between these 2 bars and the funnel will drop. Now you can push the puck slide on the left side down and to the center. If you look down through the funnel you should see a piston. This should be centered in the funnel. If not just push the slide to the right until it does. Push the press button and you are now ready to reinsert the brew group in to the machine. First you must close the door and turn on the machine without having the brew group in. You will hear the motor turn on and when it stops completely, open the door and insert the brew group. Done

Hello, I have the problem that in about 30% of the cases where i press the coffee button, it will start grinding the beans and after it is done grinding, it stops and no coffee comes out. It is descaled...

There is a lever at the top of the door on the right side. It may be inside. Pull the lever back 1 notch from the plus (+) . You are dumping too much coffee in the brew unit and it can not compress it, so it dumps it. Never push the lever all the way or it can cause this overcharge. Its fine if the brew group is clean but when you make coffee there is always a residue left and this is what causes the overcharge. The lever in on or behind the door, NOT under the bean hopper!

I Have descaled my Saeco Odea Go but still it doesnt brew coffee

That is serious, that means the grinder is jammed or not working. To check the components of the machine follow these instructions.
Press and hold the steam button and turn on the machine, when you see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction, release the button. Turn the coffee dial to the left and press the steam button, the grinder should turn. Dial on the right and pressing coffee ****. water pump runs. Press steam ****. brew group go up, dial 1/4 to left B/Group down.
If grinder not turning the motor is bad. Hope it will help to find out.

The brew unit is stuck and impossible to remove now, and something on the left seems to have moved out of place and prevents the container that holds spent coffee to slide in correctly.

Open the door. On the left side and towards the back of the brew group, there is a single small Phillips screw. Remove the screw. Squeeze the handle and pull carefully, but firmly with a quick snap. The brew group should come out with the dredge drawer and drip tray.
If you follow this piece down you will see 2 horizontal plastic bars on the brew group body. Push your finger between these 2 bars and the funnel will drop. Now you can push the puck slide on the left side down and to the center. If you look down through the funnel you should see a piston. This should be centered in the funnel. If not just push the slide to the right until it does. Squeeze the lever like you are removing the brew unit until it clicks and you are now ready to reinsert the brew group in to the machine. First you must insert the drip tray and dredge drawer, then close the door and turn on the machine without having the brew group in. You will hear the motor turn on and when it stops completely, open the door and insert the brew group. Done

The brew group to my Vienna Deluxe is out of sync. I cannot get it to fit into the machine and then add the dump box for the grains. They do not fit. I do not want to force the brew group into place....

Problem: Brew group is out of sync. Brew group insertion. Brew group alignment.

Answer: Common to all Saeco superautomatics. After removing and cleaning the brew group, it will get onto the supports but will not lock into place as the gear is not aligned. With the brew group on a clean, well lit table, use a pair of chopsticks and a friend to assist. There is a small lever arm on each side that is accessible from the outside of the brew group. As the carriage slides down towards the correct position, the arms are seen 1" above the drive gear and towards the handle side of the brew group. Gently push in the lever so it slides inside of the locking bar. Both sides need to get pushed in at the same time so it helps to have a friend hold the brew group and push in one side while you pull down on the carriage and push in the other lever. The chopsticks insert into the half-moon on each side above the locking mechanism.

Not making espreso all the time

Being that you just started using it I would not be concerned. You did the correct thing by cleaning the brew group. Check on your screen under total coffees. We usually recommend you change the brew group every 10,000 cups.

Make sure you descale the machine and you can try using the cafiza tablets to clean your brew groups internal passages.
