Not sure on this model but most are turned on by sensing water pressure when the faucet is turned on. Any leaks in the faucet washer or seat?

Hot water heater continually heats water, popping noise and steam from front of unit. Why

This is a serious problem. Safety and water damage are serious concerns.

If this is an electric shut the breaker off. If it is gas turn the temperature to off and close the gas valve. This is very important to your safety.

Check for water leakage and protect the floor from water damage. It is likely leaking.

Check your warranty and call a qualified repair service.

Sorry for the bad news!!
Hope this has helped?

Water got extremely hot and then tripped a breaker. now if i reset the breaker and turn on the hot water switch on the wall, all is good. but when i turn the switch on the hot water heater itself it trips...

Sounds like you have a short in wiring for 120VAC system of water heater. Shut breaker at panel off, and remove cover on back of water heater to look for any burnt wiring at connections such as switch, or thermostat/eco assembly.

My Lian tankless electric water heater has shut

there could be a ground fault recepticle between panel and unit.[might be tripped] or there mustbe reset on unit. no led on unit usually means no power.

It sounds like you are actually in lock out. Recycle is when during a call for heat, the flame goes out, the unit will try to restart itself. Hope this helps

Wilo 3speed recirt pump for my wood stove

I wasn't aware that you would put a citculating pump on a tankless water heater, but as long as the arrow goes in the direction of the water flow that is how it needs to be,, putting a circulator on a tankless kind of goes against what it is for, the tankless will never shut off and once it is on how will it ever satisfy itself to shut down?

I have to reset the breaker to make the water come on

You definitely have an electrical short in either your water heater or the circuit breaker itself. I would begin by testing the breaker. If you do not have the equipment necessary to check these items call in a pro.

Radiator Leak rust

what part is leaking ?what type of set up do you have? steam or water
make sure you completely drained and refill the system before use. your water level needs to be corrected or this will force water up the lines instead of steam
your radiators need to be pitched so that the steam (water) can return back when the system shuts off
as for the leak. where it is or what part is leaking
heres a manual for your system

hope this helps
