Question about Sagem Wi-Fi 11g USB adapter

Open Question

Sagem xg-760n wifi adapter. I run w98se. I tried 3 or 4 different driver and utilty downloads. The icon appears on desktop and down by clock, but wont open when clicked on. I tried changing connection settings, etc, wont work. I get a yellow exclamation on unknown usb device in hardware profile, when i select sagem usb device nothing happens. I tried in network settings to add the new adapter, every time i do it asks to restart, then when it comes back on its still not in the list. The guide says to activate the menu by opening the wifi program, but the program doesnt open.

When I look at the adapter in device manager, it says the device could not start and displays error code 10

  1. Sagem is now SAFRAN
  2. Go to SAFRAN Web Site
  3. Click <Atlas>  (north or south America, etc.)

Apparently, their drivers are archived, the only option I see, short of buying one of those Update All Your Driver programs, that will be your best and SAFEST bet.

I cannot Guarantee information from a source other than the Manufacturer.  I have, however, searched 30 + sites, for you.  The only link I found, not trying to sell something which had this:   wifi-usb-dongle-drivers/"> your Driver is here.

Because of the difficulty in locating this, particular, driver. I tested the download, for you, myself and it is safe; I don't have your wireless adapter so I can't test it, but I can tell you the downoad is safe.

wifi-usb-dongle-drivers/">http://www.wireless-driver.com/sagem-xn720s-wifi-usb-dongle-drivers/

Thank You For Choosing FixYa~!

Have bsod on 760n w/xp spack3 but it will not boot what to do

Try safe mode (F8 while booting) fi it will boot into safe mode, then it might be a bad driver.
Delete audio, video, network, etc (all but teh cpu driver) and resart.
Download the driver (if you don't have a disk) on a usb stick (on another computer of course) and reload drivers.
