Hello,

how long have you been using the player and has it ever accept blank discs in the past?

The problem might be as a result of weak laser (lens) or the blank discs inserted might not be compatible with player.

When the laser(lens) of a player becomes weak, it will not be able to read blank discs. It only takes a very strong laser to read/accept blank discs. If it happens that the laser (lens) is the cause of the problem, then it means you will need to replace the laser (lens) to a brand new one to be able to read blank disc. Though the player might be playing CD's, but note that blank disc is stronger when it comes to reading from the laser (lens), it requires sharper laser. I hope you understand this.

So, insert a CD into the player and observe if it will play.If it plays, then its obvious that your laser is very weak.

Concerning the incompatibility issue, I hope you are aware that there are various kinds of empty discs such as CD +, CD-, CD RW. Try any of this empty discs as one of them as to be compatible with this recorder.

Amongst the two topics discussed above, one has to be the cause of the problem. So its up to you to figure out which is the cause of the problem.

I hope you understand the above....

I wish you good luck.

I have an old Denon stereo receiver DRA - 565 RD. Do you know how I can connect my iPhone to the receiver to play music from my iPhone?

You need a 3,5mm male stereo connector to RCA male jacks (see attached image). Plug the 3.5mm jack to your iPhone and the RCA jacks (red & white or red & black) to your Denon Receiver's CD in or Tape 1 or 2 PB (at the rear of the unit). Then select the input where you plugged the RCA to (front of receiver: CD / Tape-2 / Tape-1). Hope this will help. 25303676-z0ul41frrnrex4ege2epffps-1-0.jpg

Denon DCM-370/270 - issue playing CD's. A CD will

I would replace the audio cable from the CD player to the Denon amp, a long shot, if you have other devices hooked to the amp and plays fine, the problem will be in the CD player. However! if all sound sources have the same problem, the issue is with the Denon unit.

How do I dub casette to casette? I lost the manual.

There should be a DUB button. After you push the DUB button, you will have another button that will allow you to select Dub form 1-2 or 2-1. If not there will only be one deck that will play while the other records and plays. Put the tape to be coppied in the play deck and the blank tape in the record deck push record and it should work.

Speaker crackle

HDMI is a High Definition Multimedia Interface and has the capability to transmit both AUDIO and VIDEO all in one cable. Your setup right now is transmitting 2 audio frequecys (L/R stereo RCA and HDMI) into the Denon inputs. Not necessary! I would recommend eliminating the red/white audio cable from the direct tv box to the Denon.

After doing such, your receiver should be able to process audio/video signals appropriately. REMEMBER to unplug all POWER CORDS before reconnecting any speaker/audio/video cable, as it may cause a small electrical surge and fry a micro component in your system!

I Have a Teac W525R double auto reverse cassette deck and I cant dub from ;Play (left sd) to Rec. (right sd). What gives? I push rec then play on the other side and the rec stops. Then I tried the other...

Don't do either of those things. Just hit one of the DUB START buttons (NORMAL OR HIGH) Located right under the tape counter. The deck does the rest.

About copying
Copying can be performed easily from the set’s CD unit onto the CD-R unit.
There are two copying speeds (normal and high) and four copying modes.
• The mode switches as described below each time the normal speed copying button (NORMAL) or the high speed copying
button (HIGH) is pressed.
• The recording level is automatically set to the default value (0.0 dB).
• The repeat and random play modes are canceled when the copy mode is set.
• During normal speed copying you can listen to the sound as you copy.
• During high speed copying no sound is produced.
• No signals are output from the digital outputs during high speed copying.
• During copying, buttons other than the CD or CD-R stop buttons do not function.
• When CD TEXT compatible CDs are copied, the disc names and track names are also copied.
When copying, switch the relay mode to the normal or dual mode. Copying is not possible in the relay or mix mode.
For optimum recording, make sure there are no fingerprints, scratches or dust on the signal surface of the source side CD or
the CD-R/RW.
The auto track function is always activated in the copying mode. It is not possible to assign track numbers manually.
Disc dubbing: In this mode, entire CDs can be copied onto CD-R/RW.
