Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Installation ended prematurely because of an error

I was also having the same problem previously. It is happening due to somehow the some sigmaplot versions could not find the correct path/permissions.
I have solved this problem by 1. open command prompt with administrative permissions.
2. go to sigmaplot package directory
3. type the name of installer /a. the switch /a results in network installation. choose a directory different than the c:\program files.
I choose D:\sigmaplot
install
go to the installation folder and open spw
update your license as received from the company or visit their website for trial license.
solved mine. later i added the shortcut to start menu.

Trying to put documents on the player, (in .odt format now), and the player says the format is not supported...how do i get them in the proper format to read?

Your player does not support .odt format.

if it's really necessary to view the file on the player: (if your using open office) you cold copy the text etc from the document into a Presentation/impress document (file->new->impress) and export (file-> export-> .jpeg) that document into JPEG.

Im trying to delete a pending which will not go

You can use the following command to stop spooler at DOS prompt.

net stop spooler

When the spoller stops, you can open the printer dialog and try to delete it. When it gets deleted, go to DOS and type:

net start spooler

Hopefully, this will solve your problem

I am compiling a book in Family Tree maker 2009. When I export the book to a word document ready for printing we loose the format of the document. Do you know how I can export to word using word 2007? My...

not what you are doing, it is a Microsoft plot! once you get used to a format they shift the goalposts, introduce new bugs change the toolbar ribbon so you have to start from scratch all over again. Its called UPDATE

Pictures need formatting to anchor them to where you want them. Export of text is not always compatible to 2007 unless there is the option of RICH TEXT FORMAT . Have you tried cut and paste of the text and then add graphics after so you can format themk and have the text flow around them.

Please ratye my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

Failed export to a word document from Adobe Acrobat 9 professiona

I am not sure that I would calssify this as a real solution but I had the same issue on an XP machine running Word 2003 (with the 2007 compatibility module).

When I took the exported document to a Vista machine with Word 2007, it opened it fine.
Of course, I think it converted or imported it to 2007 format.
The Vista machine does have more memory in it and a better processor but not that much more/better.

So, don't despair, there probably IS a way to read it and edit it, but possibly not with the machine you are on (sorry).

I am still researching to see if I can find a work around for the XP machine.
