How backup iPod music to Mac

iPod is sensational and music lovers keep their iPod just like a very precious asset. It really takes a lot of time to go through your favorite music and transfer selected music to your iPod. It takes lots of time, money and knowledge to transfer songs to your iPod.
You love your music collection and you certainly don't want to lose it accidentally. There are many instances when you may end up erasing your content from iPod. Many of my friends ask me how they can recover songs from the iPod which they accidentally erased and I ask them If they have backup and the answer is no. So it is not possible to restore music to iPod without having a backup.
By using a software, you can backup your music, videos, photos and other stuff to your computer. You can create new play lists, edit existing play lists, delete songs, transfer new songs and do lots of other things. These software work with all the old and latest models of iPod, iPhone and makes transferring files easy.
Now you can backup your music on Mac easy following the below steps
Step 1: Download iPod to Mac on you Mac and run it .
At this time, sync you ipod with Mac.
Step 2: Export checked music to local
a) Open the ipod music you want to export and check the ipod music in the file list;
b) Click the "Export checked files to local" button to start exporting files:
Step 3: Select a local folder and click the "Save" button to transfer the music from iPod to Mac local folder:
If you fail to find the most appropriate output folder from the "Profile" list for your songs, you can customize a profile to put your songs.

Itunes on my laptop will not sync to my ipod and has wiped all my music from ipod.

First of all when you sync your ipod with another computer all of your songs, videos and etc will erase by itunes application.Example the first sync was on your desktop using itunes and it was successfully transferred the songs and videos. But you want to add songs from your laptop, so copy the songs to your usb flash drive or external hard drive then paste it to your desktop computer. Then plug your ipod to your desktop computer and run the itunes application then add songs you want to transfer,by syncing or copying the song to your ipod your old songs will not be erase. Have a nice day

1. Try another USB cord or USB cable. 2. Restrart your computer for a try.
3. Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many general iPod problems. If you don't know how to do that, you may refer to this iPod tips

4. Download and install the latest version fo iTunes for a try.
5. You may try this iPod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you upload music and video to iPod, I always use it to sync my iPod when my iTunes can't recognize my iPod, it's easy to use and works pretty well

How do you delete songs from your Apple iPod 4 GB Silver?

You can set your iTunes to "manually manage music and video", then plug in your iPod to iTunes, and delete the songs from your iPod with iTunes.
Or you may try this ipod tool, it can help you delete iPod music easily, Much better than iTunes

The problem might be that the USB cable is interupten in the middle. You can buy a new one. The problem could be as simple as that.

Transfer music from one ipod to another

I recommend you am iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer which can transfer your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes.

If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.

Hope it helps!

Hi,
I am assuming you are a new user with your ipod.
You can play and view your music on the ipod only if you transfer the files thru itunes.
You can go to the apple website or download.com and download itunes.
After downloading it.Install the software and add your music onto your ipod through itunes.
Now your ipod will recognise all the songs you add.
IT WILL WORK.HAVE FUN.
and if i helped u solve ur problem in any way...please help me by clicking on the fixya rating..
thank you.

My apple iPod will not show up on itunes and i can't turn it on HELP!!!!

Sorry if I'm too obvious, but are you using iTunes?

Yes? Then check your iPod settings on iTunes:
If you want to just drag songs to the iPod you have to set it to "manually manage music" on the iPod "Summary" screen.
Otherwise you need to create playlists in iTunes and synchronise your iPod to those playlists (tick them in the "Music" tab.

Of course, if you already knew all this, sorry! Maybe you have a usb port problem (try restarting computer) or an iPod problem (try resetting your iPod). NOTE: with iPods, you MUST use iTunes to transfer music to iPod, and it is NOT possible to transfer music FROM you ipod TO your computer (say you've loaded songs from someone elses computer to your iPod and you want to put them onto your computer - no can do! Use a flash drive).
