SOURCE: recent problem
I have just accquired the same bike in showroom condition (less than 150km) Since it has been kept in a display showroom for 9 years, the lubricants and some parts are expired ( although they still look brand new) . I´ll be ordering replacement parts, apart from getting new tires, I have decided to up grade the air & oil filters to K&N,put in a Yoshimura RS3 Can for that extra touch . You saying I should go for O.E. and not risk engine recalibration? I do know that the Carbs on these bikes are tricky... Can you advise me on your tire size too? I´m thinking of going 1 size wider in the front 130/65. Or is the original size good enuf.

The cable needs to be adjusted as well as the liit screws. Bring it to a local bike shop and have them give the bike a complete look over. Once one thing is malfunctioning then more issues are close behind.

Check the engine mounts to the frame. these are isolated by rubber and you may have broken one gettin' on it at the light.

Have you bled your brakes. what it sounds like you have air in your brakes and also low. do you have a leak coming from your disk brakes? Does the tubing seem oily? if so you might want to consider changing your tubing as there may be a leak.

If all the electrics go off then :-
A) Check tightness of battery terminals & condition of battery
B) Check for dodgy fuse or dirty connections
C) Check voltage across battery terminals when engine running - should be at least 12.5v rising with increasing revs to 15v max - if not then suspect the regulator/rectifier unit or the wiring from it to battery
I hope this helps, if so please mark as helpful.
Positive comments always appreciated
