Question about Freezers
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply is connected may be sticking allowing too much water to go into the ice maker. The easiest way to see if it stops when it's supposed to is to swap the wires on the water inlet valve. Now when you press the water dispenser button the water will go to the ice maker and you can watch it to see if it cuts off immediately when you stop pushing the button. If it does then the water valve is ok and you can swap them back. If it doesn't you need to replace the water valve.
Or if that's not the problem look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover on the ice maker with a +/- on it. - is less water.
