I have a Deskjet 2050 printer and my office works program shows a boarder to be printed on a document but when I go to print preview the boarder does not show on the right side of the document and the same border will not print.

Check your PAGE SETUP options for the file you are about to print and ensure the values you have entered for the MARGINS are set small enough to allow the borders to be printed.

Do a "Print Preview" and adjust the size % of the print. While in Print Preview, you see what the document looks like as you adjust the image. When you like what you see, hit print!

Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

How to adjust the print margins on a HP Deskjet 2050 J510c printer

Hello Bea Stanbery

You have revived a post from January 2012 which is going to confuse 'Anonymous' :>)

You need to check settings before you print, but first check your default setting in Printer - Properties. You need to make sure the paper is set to Letter in the USA or A4 in the UK.

Then when you create documents, make sure that authoring program is set for the same paper size.

The original poster of this post probably had the setting set to A4 or Legal which always chops of the bottom of the page because that paper is much longer.

The "Print Preview" window will open and show you exactly what your page will look like on paper.
    • 3 Change the font size, margins and other elements as needed until your document looks the way you want it to. After your document has been adjusted, click on the "Print" button on the toolbar or click on the "File" menu and choose "Print" from the drop-down list.

Printing position of a picture

heyo Chuckie,

Really depends on your printer. I am assuming you are using Word. When looking at your documents, go to FILE, PRINT, click on PROPERTIES and then LAYOUT tab. THere is BORDERLESS printing. If you have a laser printer it may not have a problem with this, if you have an inkjet, there are paper rollers in the print that need to hold the paper while printing. As a last resort, I would make a PDF of the doc and swing over to Kinkos or a printing shop and print it off there.

Good Luck.
