Hello two.... get back with some more details if this first response does not answer your question. If you have a typical shallow or deep well system, it is set up intentionally so that the pump does not come on every time the water is turned on. Instead, let's say the pump is set to come on when the pressure drops down to 20 pounds per square inch and turn off when the pressure hits 40 pounds per square inch.
As long as the pressure is within that range, turning on the water will not turn on the pump. Joe
