SOURCE: Question re: recalled cribs
Yes, if you click on their screen nickname and there is a Ask Me button available you can click on that and send a personal message. Otherwise, she will have to weed through our answers until she gets to yours. Being a weekend we have no staff around to intercede in a clear and obvious situation like this. I know I and the others would have no objection of abandoning the question entirely to get word to her directly, but it has to be staff that does this.
You could email experts@fixya and see if someone is in the office by now in Israel who can do this. Good Luck and let me know.
When I saw your answer I thought the same thing. Its scary to know there is some child at risk and that cribs dot com never notified her of the recall. That's scandalous and I hope she at least heeds my advice and gets a hold of the BBB online. As cribs dot com is clearly negligent. Fortunately for her, there has been no accident. I couldn't tell either whether this crib is still being used or not and thus I suggested to at least take some measure to keep it from dropping down again, even if you use duct tape.
And, perhaps she had been googleing and discovered the recall notice. We may never know.
Nice to meet you,

This is Products America! We service crib hardware for most non-recalled cribs. According to our list, this model is under a recall. If you are ever unsure about a product and the recall on a product, please visit www.cpsc.gov. Delta's contact number is 800-377-3777. We hope that this will help!

FYI - If your Delta crib has a drop side, then it has been recalled. Delta has several models of cribs and several types of drop side hardware. Each type of hardware has a unique recall repair kit, so you need to know the model number when you contact Delta. The lists of model #s on the website may not be correct, because Delta will give a new model # for a crib that has a cosmetic difference over another crib. Thus, just know that if it has a drop side, it has been recalled. If you can't get anywhere with Delta, contact the CPSC and tell them the problem you are having.
