20 parts water to 1 part cleaning solution is the common recommendation for power washers. Use only approved solutions or you can damage the pump. If the job is really grimy you can go as low as 7 to 1

What soap do you use to clean a Waterpik SWI 615 Sinusense Water Pulsator?

All detergents are basically sodium laurel sulphate or sodium loreth sulphate. Even toothpaste, hand soap, bar soap, laundry soap, dish soap contains this ingredient.
It allows oils to mix with water by reducing the surface tension so as to make the water molecules (packets) smaller. By doing so the molecules can get at and dissolve oils where it could not get to previously.
Water is already the worlds greatest universal solvent (every element on the periodic table has been found dissolved in water). Sodium laurel sulphate is toxic though and should never be in the human body and perhaps should never even touch the skin as it might be adsorbed.
It makes you wonder about toothpaste. No wonder they give instructions for children's use to not use more than the size of a pea. They suggest to rinse thoroughly. Detergents don't kill bacteria. They just help wash them away. Detergent washes any food that the bacteria may eat.
Keeping an item dry is the best way to kill bacteria. Antibacteria soaps will just help create a super bacteria or super virus. It will just make things worse over time.
Basically use any detergent... rinse well... keep it dry, and avoid the antibacteria soaps.

I have a 2750 PSI pressure washer with a 6.5 hp Honda engine. The soap mixer will not work. Any ideas? Please advise Tahnks

Check the draw tube and soap inlet for a clog. The soap mixer works on siphon action so an obstruction is pretty much all that can go wrong with it.

Old Maytag a207 seems to run well, but gives poor rince.

Change out the pump belt and drive belt underneath the washer.
Remove the center filter from the agitator and clean it. It will twist out and pull up.

Don't know how to use carpet shampooer

You should have the new aquamate, it has a blue top to fill with the water and water/soap solution that pops down into place. You will need to use your power nozzle hose and tube, connect it to your shampooer (make sure to connect the power connection just like the power nozzle). Fill your water up, large compartment is for cold water only and the smaller compartment is for one cap full of soap then the rest filled with cold water. Start with just a splash of water or an empty basin in the rainbow. The trigger will control your water spray and the brush underneath. There are two levers on the back of the shampooer marked with a shower head and a bar of soap. Use the soap with the shower head and the soap on and the water only with just the shower head on. You will want to also go over the area shampooed with both off to **** up the remaining water. Make sure to clean your floor thoroughly before shampooing.

Mixing attachment for stand mixer is stuck

I had this happen today. I took a towel and covered all of the beater except where it attaches. I sprayed WD-40 on it. This loosened it and it came unstuck. Then I washed it thoroughly with hot water and soap. It had some dried batter stuck inside which caused it to stick. Guess I better pay better attention to how clean I get it inside. PS Don't spray WD-40 anywhere else - this is something you make food with!

Dough hook stuck in machine

Hi. Is it possible that some of the dough or flour you are mixing has made it's way into the attachment point with each batch, and therefore gumming it up progressivley ? Carefully lay the mixer on one side, being carefull not to lay it on the side mixer controls. Use a rolled up towel to support the head, this will make it easeir to see the attachment point. If there's a buildup of flour, wet it with warm water and a little liquid soap, until it softens, remove the attachment and clean the areas of contact. Apply a bit food oil to the hook before using next time.

Re: your second mixer The head locking pin may also have flour in it. This would inhibit the movement of the locking mechanism along it's guides. You may have to do some disassembly to get it cleaned out. After cleaning put a drop of regular oil on the moving parts. Be sure to clean the recess that the pin fits into as well.

If that's not your problem, then the pin may be worn enough to not fully engage.

If I have assisted you, please rate my solution. Good luck! ricardok45

Doesn't emit water in either tools or floor mode.

The mixer valve is most likely gummed up with old soap and stuck you will need to take the bottom of the machine apart to get at it. The problem with that is while it is easy to get apart it can be very difficult to get back together properly even for someone that does the job all the time. The only trick I can give you is to put a phone book under the base of the unit this will keep the wheels up and the base level to aid in reassembly. If you do get it apart remove the mixer valve which is directly under the grey mixer knob and rinse it in your sink very well. In the future take the time to empty the unused soap back into the bottle and fill the solution tank with water and rinse out the system before putting it away.
