You want to make sure that both your speaker and microphone are your default device. Go to the Sounds & Audio Devices in the control panel of your computer to confirm that. If it's still not working, contact Plantronics at 800-544-4660 x5 x5538 for warranty service (they have a 1 year warranty).

Bluetube is connected to my cell phone but I can't hear anything

There may be linking issues between the headset and the phone. Page 11 of the user guide offers these suggestions. Also, here is a link for re-pairing your headset to the phone:

Plantronics Explorer 230 Pairing Instructions

Remember that you want to purge any possible bluetooth interference from your phone.

"Callers cannot hear me or I cannot hear caller/dialing tone:
The headset is not turned on or the headset is not connected to mobile phone. Press the call control button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep or see the indicator light glow blue to turn headset on.
Your headset is out of range. Move the headset closer to the phone or Bluetooth device.
Your headset battery is drained. Charge your battery using the AC power adapter supplied.
The listening volume is too low. Press the volume key up (toward the earloop) to increase the sound heard in the headset."

I have explorer 240. I paired my device to computers bloutooth. everything was ok. But now the other party can't hear me. I tryed to pair with my cellphone, and there was the same problem... Is there...

It could be that your unit is defective and may need to be replaced but here is some information for you to check out from the user guide:

1) Callers cannot hear me, or I cannot hear caller/dialing tone.
Press the volume key up (toward the earloop) to increase the sound heard in the headset.

On my new Plantronics S12 Headset System, I hear a dial-tone (through the headset) when I press the headset button, but when I remove the phone and begin dialing nothing happens. I also tried a test call...

Unfortunately, the phone does matter. The S12 is designed to work with office style phones where the handset is just the mouthpiece, all other features located on the base. My suggestion is to get a phone of that style (you can find inexpensive ones at Wally world) and connect the headset following the instructions on this link for the Plantronics S12.

When i make calls on my N95 Nokia mobile I cannot be heard but I can hear them. This is the same when somebody phones me.

The above problem I have solved by connecting with a bluetooth headset. This has confirmed to me that the mobile must be suffering from microphone failure as I could be heard via a bluetooth headset.

Headset transmits wave

If you are hearing it on the speakers then it is possible the other computer's problem. If you are hearing it though the headset it could be a headset problem. Check your settings and try talking to a bunch of other people to assess the situation.

Can't hear or be heard during phone calls

This is a known promblem with the treo phones.
If you had a wired headset plugged in to your phone then removed it. The phone thinks the headset is still plugged in. Try putting headset back in phone and removing it. You may need to do this a couple of times. If it still doesn't solve the problem make sure your bluetooth on the phone is turned off. If problem still exists you may have to contact your carrier for replacement.

Good Luck,

Have questions about your cell phone/mobile device or Bluetooth headset?

Our Call Centers are open from Monday through Friday from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.00 a.m. To 6.00 p.m. (CST)

Please call Motorola customer service at: 1-800-331-6456

When I called I did a quick song and dance with the auto system (just say agent and it goes away) and explained to a "foreign" sounding gentleman what my issue was and after wasting about 5 minutes of my time attempting to get it to work he said they (Motorola) was going to upgrade my headset to the H710 for free. According to him I should have my new headset in less than a week. We shall see.
