To change your display orientation within Windows XP is to hold the Ctrl and Alt keys, then press the left, right, up, or down arrow key corresponding to the direction you want the screen aligned with.

My sliding laser miter saw is about 1 degree off on 90 degrees cuts, how do youadjust it?

Adjust the angle by turning the bed of the saw bit by bit until you have a 90 degree cut on a piece of timber measured with a carpenters square. Some saws have an adjustable pointer and you can now adjust it to point to 90 degrees. If the bevel cut is off, the vertical downwards cut, there may be grub screw at the back of the saw which will allow you to make adjustments.

10 inch lest tilt Unisaw will not tilt to complete verticle --only goes to 88.5.

There is an adjustment under the table top. It usually is a bolt with a lock nut that allows you to adjust the table to a predetermined angle every time. You can adjust the amount that the table will go by unlocking the lock nut and then turning the bolt the correct direction allowing the table to come to a full 90 degrees. Once you have the table a 90 degrees lock the bolt down with the lock nut. This will aloow you to change the tilt of the table to something other than 90 degrees and then come back to the 90 degrees by turning the adjusting wheel until it bottoms out against the locked doen adjusting bolt.

Which knob you adjust for drop? What is the left knob for?

If you have 2 knobs, there should be no left knob. If you have a knob on the left, you have it mounted 90 degrees out of alignment. Loosen the rings and turn it 90 degrees clockwise. Once you do that, the knob on the top is the one you will use for elevation.

If you have 3 knobs, the left one is for parallax adjustment, focuses the scope for specific ranges. the top knob is the elevation adjustment in this case also.

Have a Skil #3305-01 table saw. Need to set blade

The jam nut is on the end of the bolt you are adjusting, directly underneath the table. The easiest way to get to it is to place the saw on it's left side, and move the saw blade to the maximum bevel position (45 degrees). You can then reach up -directly underneath the location of the bolt on top - and access the jam nut.

To be clear - the bolt you are tightening is about 2 inches long with the jam nut on the end with the purpose of tightening the bolt into place once you have established the correct adjusted position.

And yes, the directions for this step were terrible.

SCREEN TURNED TO LEFT WHEN I HIT KEYBOARD WITH BOOK COVER

1. If you right click on the desktop and look at graphics properties, or something similar to that, then you should get a menu for your display adapter control panel. Usually the screen rotation is right there. Sometimes it's as easy as a CTRL + arrow key combination, but I'd rather see you adjust it from a menu.

2. Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees (If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)

3. If you have the intel video chipset, I believe pressing CTRL+ALT+ one of the arrow keys should fix your problem.

I think it was ctrl+alt+right, but if that doesn't work, try the other three arrow keys.

However, if that doesn't work (especially if you do not have intel video), then right click on your desktop, go to properties, and go to the advanced tab. There you should find some setting that will allow you to reverse the rotation.
