That usually means the powersupply is going bad.

depending on the year and model of vehicle, more then one fuse can control brake lights. if its a factory trailer package, then you might want to check all fuses.

Orange light on vizio no bad caps


You may be buying a main board, only a few guys in the industry even bother servicing main boards. Outside of a bad cap, fuse, or regulator its time to replace the board. If you have standby power, and you're not getting the "PS ON" signal from the main board, your main board is bad!

No heating


I woke up this morning to the same problem! I called my brother who has fixed these in the past and he said it's probably the THERMAL FUSE. Hope that helps. He said it's about a 20 minute project to replace the fuse.
