There is a flow regulator in the shower head. You have to remove the shower head and inside just down below the pipe threads, you will see the water saver. It can either be a white disk that can be screwed out or a black piece of plastic that just sits down in ther or a very small rubber washer. If it's the small rubber washer, you will need something pointy to remove it. I use a dental pic for them.

SORRY, ITS SO.... BUT GOOD FOR YOU THIS ISN'T MY FIRST RODEO... TELL YOUR HUSBAND TO ADD THIS TO HIS NEVER ENDING TO-DO LIST: YOU CAN ADD A SHOWER HEAD VALVE WHICH DEPENDING ON YOUR FINISH ONLY COSTS ABOUT 15 DOLLARS AND TAKES 2 MINUTES TO INSTALL. I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE ON MY DANZE VENETIAN BRONZE TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON. YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE SHOWER HEAD, THEN ADD THE VALVE, THEN ATTACH THE SHOWER HEAD TO THE VALVE. ADJUST FOR THE DESIRED PRESSURE. SORRY HUBBIE

Not to familar with faucet itself, but on most shower faucet's, there is a screw that holds it on. Most of the time there is a plastic face plate on the front of the handles, you pop that off and the screw is beneath, as you loosen you have to hold the handle in place, otherwise as you loosen the screw it will turn the water on.
Other fauet handles will have a set screw , usually on the bottom side of the handle body,( the part of the handle closest to the shower wall, either a small flat head or allen wrech should be all you need. good luck.
